You might as well say "all Muslims are Muslims". But just because someone believes something and feels "peacefully with it" does not make it true. I do search for the truth. So far, all the evidence I've encountered leads me to conclude that all religions are made up and untrue. None of them sound remotely plausible. They're filled with miracles, genies, angels, and people conversing with a god. I don't believe in any of these things, because I've never encountered even the slightest evidence that they exist. All we have are people's testimony, written many centuries ago, when belief in such things was common.

If you read the Quran, read it in Arabic. Learn to read in Arabic and to understand it. That is how you will see the message. The translation can distort the message sometimes.
Never mind the children who just want to argue. I think this video and books like the one Sumbul Ali wrote, and Yusuf Islam's website all go a long way toward helping people understand more. I know that I myself look at Islam a lot differently than I used to. Extremist Christians are terrorists as well, and Christianity itself is full of people who only read a verse or two on Sunday and forget it the rest of the week. Well at some point technology and education will be so good people will stop following a religion and rather use their skills to explore the wonders of science. The world is still in bad shape, we have nuclear fusion facilities when people in Africa don't even have something to eat.
In time religion will fade away unless the progress in technology is halted but that would require an apocalyptic scenario which is unlikely but not impossible.

You misunderstand me. I do not believe that any religion is true. Of course "all Muslims believe in their religion"--that is the very definition of a Muslim! You might as well say "all Muslims are Muslims". But just because someone believes something and feels "peacefully with it" does not make it true. Problems occur when people base their actions on religion. Such people believe they have Allah (God, whatever his name) on their side. They don't, for the simple reason that Allah does not exist

I do search for the truth. So far, all the evidence I've encountered leads me to conclude that all religions are made up and untrue. None of them sound remotely plausible. They're filled with miracles, genies, angels, and people conversing with a god. I don't believe in any of these things, because I've never encountered even the slightest evidence that they exist. All we have are people's testimony, written many centuries ago, when belief in such things was common.

I'm sorry, but I'm unconvinced that there is a god to whom I ought to submit, and I'm certainly not convinced that he dictated (via an angel) the Quran to someone 1400 years ago. To believe that to be true seems as ridiculous to me as believing that the legends of the Norse or the ancient Greeks are literally true.

Never mind the children who just want to argue. I think this video and books like the one Sumbul Ali wrote, and Yusuf Islam's website all go a long way toward helping people understand more. I know that I myself look at Islam a lot differently than I used to. Extremist Christians are terrorists as well, and Christianity itself is full of people who only read a verse or two on Sunday and forget it the rest of the week. There is no compulsion in religion. Whatever choice they make, they will have to face their Lord and answer for it. Each soul for itself. Who is to know weather you truly fallow your religion or not...but allah. And there is no where in the quran or sunnah that it says you have to kill a person who leaves it. and allah knows best. take care.

I take what we know and apply that to my thinking, I try not to jump to conclusions. But I can say for sure, that none of the religions have it right.

It's funny how you have this TOTALLY wrong. Islam wasn't even considered a monotheistic religion when the Crusades began. The Catholics thought the Muslims were pagans, and didn't know anything about Islam. The "threat" of Islam was a non-issue, because the only reason the Crusades were undertaken was to take Jersusalem. (Holy Roman Empire needed to be "better" than Byzantium.) Al Andulus was the Iberian's best 800 years, and scholars all agree about that. Please get better educated on the topic

Maybe you will some day understand that religion is a path to God, and God is the esence of the goodness and He loves you and me.Therefore a religion which doesn't carry their followers to love not right. A religion which doesn't show you "To love your nearest as you love yourself" but kill and prosecute the "non-believers" can't lead you to God. And how could you say I know nothing about the crusades if you raised no contentions about them? I'm studying the Crusades right now in college from a WESTERN viewpoint and it's all the same. You don't interpret, don't use your brain, you learn it by heart as parrots. Your prophet wanted it this way.
