  • Despite whether people may or may not agree with his political views, I personally find Ron Paul to be sharp as a whip, and likely to be a competent leader for our country, even if things don't go exactly his way. The thing about him is that I trust him. Even if I don't agree with everything he has to say, he has "competent" written all over him. He's equipped with facts about everything, and I trust him to make informed decisions on key issues.

  • The whole key is that Ron Paul wants to shrink the "federal" government and restore many functions down to independent state governments, like enforcing drug & marriage laws. A lot of people are scared of it, when in reality, I believe we will do just fine without a large "federal" government. The constitution has set out specific boundaries for the "federal" government for very specific reasons. Many American's are waking up to the fact that things can be so much better, that there is hope.

  • the government will function, it just won't have such a large role anymore... please don't start making stuff up.

  • lol, he doesn't know ron paul's views......and he says "i don't know" a few times, see he admits the truth, he doesn't know, so dude who should shave with the white shirt go read.....preferably something that teaches you the real history of the world.

  • OK, Ron Paul is sending a message that our ginormously huge government is out of control and blowing our tax money, pre-imptively starting wars against an unseen enemy, (terrorism is not a sovereign nation) by invading countries and making more enemies than were there to start with. He is for giving control of your life back to you instead of big bro making decisions for you. He doesnt want you to have to work harder so you can support millions on welfare. write in Ron Paul!

  • What I don't get is why I watched at least 10 second of a guy sitting in front of a webcam repeating the same shit over and over.

  • way to go dumbass.

  • You are not one to talk

  • For right now the tread is for freedom to fascism, the fight is not about Ron Paul, as even he has noted. This fight is about turning that trend around going back from the freedoms we have lost fascism to freedom and having the Constitution as our rule of law. Try and learn about them, the IMF, CFR, World Banks, and see what you come up with. Start with "Money Masters" on google, then "The Century of Self." Your starting too think and that's a very good sign, Edward Bernays isn't working on you.

  • im tired of picking the lesser of the two evils, left and right.

  • Amen, I hear you. For me before you can do real change you need to get rid of the two party system. Its crap and to me undemocratic. The rules regarding third parties are stiff. Its up to us to bring real democracy to the U.S. If you change the tool then you will have a better product. To, me the plurality of voices is what matters that is what makes us a democracy. Anyway, sorry about the rant.

  • I'll put it another way, if Ron Paul doesn't get into office America will be lost. People will have three choices, fight, flee, or do as they say. If S 1959 becomes law, any and all forms of dissent will be halted, and freedom of speech will be outlawed. It is already right in front of our faces with the Real ID card, that is the ID for the NAU to be followed by the RFID chip. Bush Sr. must really be happy for it looks like his dream is coming too pass. Sad not to many people even know about it.

  • This is a turning point in American history. If the North American Union is allowed to form America will be just that, history. History for us too read to our children on how America fell, and how we didn't stand up and fight for her. The CFR is our true enemy, the Fed Bank has no place being in this Republic. Freedom Fighters we are, but they will call us terrorist. They planned for this with prisons set up as "We The People" fight back. History will mark these times up to us how she does.

  • One thing for sure if we do go too war with Iran, you are of the right age and will be their to fight for oil. They need an army and you will do just fine, the draft is the only way they are going too get their army, so prepare too fight.

  • Personally, I'm in favor of the draft as a tatic for recruiting armies. When volunteer, standing armies are easily accessible people don't care what happens. Good example right now with Iraq. Now, you put in a draft Anybody and everybody with a kid or who is of age cares about what is going on and will actually voice their opinon other than poll data telling us how they feel. The will go to the streets.

  • R estore the Constitution!

    O ut of Iraq now!

    N ation building no more!

    P rosperity through less government!

    A merican patriotism!

    U nder God!

L iberty and justice for ALL!

Ron Paul -- Revolution 2008! this is why

  • and he don't flip flop, he tells you the truth and he don't hide anything, can you say that with the other candidates NO!!!!!

  • Nuf, stop 1:31

Ok, support WAR and killing abroad...does that appeal to you? Where the fuck are your priorties for the next 4 yrs...? What's so fucking progressive about continuing the chaos in the Middle East? What' so fucking progressive about inflation, and your paycheck is always the last to bumped up in price too? Wake up!

  • Where did I say that killing abroad appealed to me? I like the anti-war stance, I don't have a problem with that at all. Progressive about inflation? Where are you coming with this crap? I believe in accountable gov. that is why our situation is like it is. At least the way I see it. Are you not familiar with the term progressive?

  • The accountable government part would be great. I'm behind paul becuase he is the most honest. Simply put. I don;t care if he is a loon, he tells the truth. His record stands as honesty. The other guys, all of them, are down right scary if you turn off the tv and do some real research.

  • I see what you are saying. Nader was the same way. He stuck by his principles and people called him crazy, but he would tell you straight up what he thought and you knew where he stood.

  • this guy isn't just telling what he thinks - he's telling it like it is. Some of the things that he says, when you dig into them, make you shiver. He's telling reality.

  • I think you hit the nail on the head. People have so many labels that we, the public, do not understand them all! Progressive? I would think that meant hand-outs and Neo-con strategies. But, you do not represent that at all!

  • Yes, the labels can and do seem daunting. For me, I'm all about social libertarianism and when it comes to economics I do believe in regulation. I do believe in the idea of the general welfare. However, I do believe in the instrument of democracy making it eaiser for third parties or more voices to be heard, felons allowed to vote, and etc. To me its not the size of the government that counts its how strong the democratic tools are within it.

  • Settle down there chief, he isn't saying he agrees with the warmongers that are running. He's just asking a simple question to try and gain a better understanding of the man and why people seem to rally around him.

Also, you might want to do a little research on the term "progressive" as he's using it here, because you clearly missed the boat on that one...

  • blow it out your earhole....I know what it means!

  • Obviously, since no progressive wants the crap you talk about to happen.

Mike Gravel, for example, is progressive.

And, "blow it out your earhole"? Really? Very mature of you.

  • No seriously, Really, blow ....it...out..your....earhole!

And don't tell me "settle down, Chief", unless you want to be told to "blow it out your earhole"... Got it?

  • Then don't tell my friend to "wake up". His eyes are wide open and he's just asking a question. I happen to think Ron Paul is the guy that's gonna get it done, but that's MY OPINION. Just like Jason has his.

    Got it?

  • Does your friend need your rescue? Hahahaha!

    Got it?

Ron Paul videos have been on the internet for over 6 months...it's a little late to be asking freshmen questions, got it?

Go ahead, have the last word, we're done!

  • Ha!

    Got it.

    Yeah, we're done.

  • Little late to be asking freshmen questions? Who are you? Seriously. I want to hear what individuals have to say. And believe me the election isn't tomorrow so time isn't really a concern. I just like hearing what people have to say that is all. If you have a problem with me asking now, then why bother to repond? Just go back to your under water cave.

  • The value of our dollar is falling, and now the fed is talking about cutting rates another .50% after a .75% cut not 2 weeks ago! that will put the rate where? 3%?? hard times are commin fast, and hes the only one that will tell you the truth about it. and when all this happens, i want him standing over the vaccum, making sure the restructuring is correct. i have many other reasons, but thats my main one.

  • Thanks for the comment.

  • Ron Paul has truely opened my eyes to what it means to FOLLOW THE CONSTITUTION!! I never really sat down and conceptionalized the idea that the war in Iraq is UNCONSTITUTIONAL! We never declared war with the country of IRAQ. In fact, Ron Paul introduced a bill that said "WE DECLARE WAR ON IRAQ" NOT ONE CONGRESS MAN OR WOMAN signed it! Yet they (Congress) continue to spend OUR MONEY to send our brave men and women to police the streets of Iraq?

  • Progressives and lefties have been saying that one for decades. Eugene Debs through Nader now. But I'm glad to see conservatives go back to their roots in Ron Paul. The Neo-con wing has really hijacked the party.

  • Well, he's a really snappy dresser for starts,

then there was something about 4 billion babies,

and the whole "last Hope for America thing" but that was a

    footnote on the old media,

    oh, wait....

    ONE WORD>>>

    --------------- B L I M P ! ----------

    that's me done.

  • boo

  • critic.

    YouTube's full of 'em

I'll be here all week folks,

    tip your waitress,

    and try the veal...

  • ok, that was funny

  • He promotes personal responsibility. I have delt with the gov. buracracy for a long time being a single father. My kids are worse off because of the gov. I'm sure it will take an ordeal like mine for some people but Its my hope that no one else will have to go through it. People always think they have the answers to other peoples problems and we all know they don't. Good luck to you whatever you decide.

  • thank you for your comment.

  • SHOW THEM THE PICTURE!!!

For those who don't know, Jason has a picture of himself with Ralph Nader from "Food Not Bombs" if I remember correctly.

This is the opening of a very large and complicated discussion.

  • I don't remember correctly. It was just a Nader rally. Though Jason has helped "Food Not Bombs".
