...in 2004, I imagined that if it did exist in stereo, that would be where I'd find it. Sadly, every track on The Laughing Cavalier album was in stereo but... Daydream!! So I assumed that as was so often the case in the 60s, the first recording by a new band was just an experimental taster recorded cheaply in mono, and tagged on to a cash-in stereo album if it took off. So where did this version come from? And... it's almost a minute longer than the original single. Thanks again!

Hey, good on ya, Audio4You! Thanks so much for this - I bought this on a 7" when it came out in '68 or '69. It seemed to form a perfect trilogy with Procol Harum's Whiter Shade of Pale, and Reflections of Charles Brown by Rupert's People. The former has turned up in stereo (albeit a very slightly different take), and I've been hoping to find the latter and this one in stereo ever since. I don't think Reflections... was recorded in stereo, and having bought a CD containing their 2 albums back...
