  • to grow flowers in the dirt...all of my friends are living underground.

You just can't get this anywhere and I wouldn't want to. Love this on cassette and CD. Like when you used to get an album or cassette and it was its own lil island.

    Thanks for leaving this. Smile.

  • who came here from Nintendo Caprisun

  • i like ncs better.

  • i lived there and all my homies still do, puro pee water doggie, you havent partied till you do it in sweetwater tx

  • I love 90s music! Just think: Today you may find one or two good songs, but the 90s offer thousands of good songs. I'm sick of auto-tune. Why can't there be a decade in the future that offers 90s-esque music? I guess we will be stuck with Lady Gag Gag and Justin Boober.

  • I'm actually from the town that this song is about and I think that its so cool for our small town to have a major band write a song about us :)

  • @zipposjetstream93 As a songwriter myself, I've always wanted to write a song about a particular city and this song has inspired me to.

  • what happened to fastball? this record had commercial success from what i remember, but then they just fell right off the map. I'd love to see them live sometime if they still tour? i

  • Hang In There Baby :)

  • @Cthulhuigi thank you

  • NCS for the win!

  • Thumbs up if nintendocaprisun brought you here(: or his song was better(:

  • @xKittyKillswitchX I don't see how this song is similar to {"Hang In There" at all

  • @megaman1025 It's the guitar melody. It's the same as the beeping in Hang in There.

  • I've been a fan of this since I was 9, but, when did NCS use it or talk about it?

  • @ZyxthePest He made a melody similar to this on Mario Paint and wrote some lyrics to it!

  • @ZyxthePest He posted a Mario Paint melody that was inspired by this song I think a day ago

  • Thanks NCS this song is great!

  • Thank you NCS, you showed me a new band i am really starting to enjoy!

  • Yes, NCS brought me here too.

  • NCS!

  • All these tools trying to get thumbs up by mentioning NCS, how about saying something about the song instead of being a thumbs up whore?

  • NCS brought me here :)

  • I here from NintendoCaprisun! :D

  • Apparently this group owes a lot to NCS. I didn't realize so many people would come check this out lol.

  • @PopCulture20 Wow. Judgemental much? I'll have you know I listen to tons of music from a huge variety of genres. Just because I haven't heard of this group before NCS means I like Katy Perry and autotuned stuff? Really? NCS introduced this group to his fanbase though.

  • Thumbs up if NCS song brought you here. NSC forever, Tim is amazing

  • NCS all the way! 8-D

  • LOL!!! I AM ALSO AN NCS FAN!! XD LOL

  • who came for NCS?!!!

  • Am I the only one here from NCS?

  • @Omeegia i am, i guess not many people read his discription

  • @Omeegia me too! I forgot that I knew this song.

  • @Omeegia No.

  • @Omeegia No way man, NCS all the way!

    IN THE BATHROOM!

  • @Omeegia nope your not the only one.

  • @Omeegia no i got here to cause of him

  • @Omeegia Same here. Nintendocaprisun pwns!!

  • @Omeegia What are you, kidding? Everyone is here from NCS.

  • @Omeegia Apparently not

  • @Omeegia Surely not.

  • Thanks for posting this song, it's one of my favorite songs on one of my favorite albums!

  • This is one is one of those treats you'll come across on an album if you didn't rely on just radio singles from the album. That's what I loved about late 90s Rock albums.

  • @PopCulture20

What? How is that exclusive to 90s' rock album?

Modern bands release albums as well...

  • @Mordain607 What are you talking about?

  • @PopCulture20

"This is one of those songs not a single but still great. Which is why I love late 90s' rock albums".

That fact applies to pretty much every good album ever recorded. It seems silly to use that as a reason to like late 90s rock albums in particular.

  • @Mordain607 First of all, most Rock albums that came out before the late 90s were mostly single-oriented so don't tell me what you think I heard. And what would you know about Rock anyway when all you listen to is Ke$ha, Britney & Katy Perry? You're only here because some tv show brought you here. You don't shit about Rock or music in general.

  • @PopCulture20

What? How do you know what I listen to? Katy Perry, Ke$ha Britney and shit aren't the only musicians currently in existence! Lot's of modern rock is still great! The Von Hertzen Brother's released their new album a month ago or something, and it's great! And the single isn't the best song on it.

And I'm pretty sure AOR started before the late 90s. One awesome one I know is Extreme - III Sides to Every Story - definitely album oriented and definitely brilliant!

  • @Mordain607 You got like a 1000 sub-genres of Rock music and this is far from being AOR so how do you compare Fastball to AOR because Extreme was a Glam Metal band which is nearly the same as AOR. Fastball is more of a Pop-Rock band.

  • @PopCulture20

Well, I was just saying rock started becoming more Album-Oriented then. I wasn't really talking about one specific sub-genre. So yeah, maybe you're right in saying that pop-rock specifically didn't become album oriented until the late 90s, I dunno. But yeah, this band and Extreme are pretty far away from each other in terms of style.

  • @Mordain607 There were some album-artists back then before the late 90s such as Led Zepplin, I grant you that, but most of them just made albums for singles.

  • @Mordain607 hey you don't have to act like a fucking bitch just because some shitty show brought you here. you would know more about this music if your dumbass went searching for it instead of sitting on your dumbass listening to justin bieber, usher & cascada.

  • @80Boy19

Seriously what the fuck are you one about? What show mentioned this? I don't like Justin Bieber or Usher - I don't even know who or what Cascada is. Why are you assuming this shit?

  • I'm from this town. This is really cool. Made me smile.

  • @rosielover999 I was born in Sweetwater in '67 left before I was 2,I wanna go there someday,I'm curious to check it out.

  • @rosielover999 not something i would brag about...lol this place sucks
