I think thissong is about a knights templar, who fought in the crusade and killed, slaughterd for there god. At the end where they finally reach the "HOLY LAND" they get betrayed by there holy leaders and accused of crimes they did not do, and at the end he finally sees what they've done sees that there church has left them to die.

This would make sense on the fact that the knights templar were left to die by there church and hunted down for crimes they did'nt do.

Hey, just to mention it, im not trying to be a smartass or anything, it's a good vid, but you may want to add in your title the name "Teutonic Knights" cause the picture that shows up is of a teuton, and at 1:40, 3:43 (on the left) and 3:57 (pretty obviouse to you, regnphil. since its from total war and you probably took it from that) they r teutons but the fact that the Teutons were german and this song is in German it's kinda of downplaying the teutons =( but like i said, just a suggestion
