She says that Maria may possibly never forgive her, but regardless she wants her to know the whole truth. The truth about Maria and Johannes child, that Maria had in the institution. And that they had led Maria to believe that the child died after it was born, but that was a lie. Francesca says that Maria has a son, and that he was brought to them in a red blanket. She says that they brought up the child as their own, and they gave him the name...Ansgar! Ansgar says 'my mother'!
Ansgar tells him to close the door. The letter is addressed to Maria from Francesca saying she should have asked her long ago for forgiveness for everything herself and Johannes did to her. She says she should have protested as they brought Maria to that awful place, but she only thought of her wellbeing. Francesca says she was happy to have gotten rid of her rival love for Johannes, but it was a love that brought her no happiness.
Maria comments on something. Carla asks her what she is talking about and that Stella can look after it. Maria says Stella has plenty to do and can't look after everything herself. David calls out to Ansgar. Ansgar asks him if he is following him. David says he was looking for him and that he found the letter at the back of the painting. David tells him he didn't read it. Ansgar tells him he can sort out the rest later and he is sure there is plenty for him to do outside.
Charlie says the decorations are like a dream. Maria says Stella did a great job. Carla tells her that she wants to tell her something. Charlie says she'll be back but that she has to see Stella first. Tanja asks if she has been let out for today. Charlie says her poision is wasted on her. Carla tells Maria she has time now. Maria asks her time for what. Carla reminds her that she wanted to tell her something important.
Tanja tells him she is sorry but she can't help him. Ansgar says 'that's a pity'. Ansgar asks her what she is up to. Tanja says she's not going to tell him, but one thing she can promise him is that his aunt won't ruin it for them. Ansgar, looking at the photo, says who do you think you are. Ansgar apologises to the painting of his mother and says he couldn't help it. Ansgar tells David to stop looking and to tidy it up. Maria greets Charlie. Charlie says she loves weddings.
*wink* oh, back and forth sounds much better!! *blushes* I am used to chasing my own tail you see *giggles*. Oh I am fine thank you, had too much coffee, that is why I'm running around!! *hug & kiss*
Ansgar asks Justus if he has seen his mother. Justus says she is in the kitchen with his brother. Ansgar questions about his brother, thinking Justus means Leo. Justus clarifies and says it is Constantine who has arrived. Ansgar says to Tanja that she was right. Tanja says she is always right. He asks Tanja what she has and asks if it is medicine. Tanja asks if he has ever heard of post privacy. Ansgar asks if she has an illness that he is not aware of.
Maria pleads with Ansgar and says she doesn't want to disappoint Carla again. Ansgar tells her for the last time she is not his mother, as she is dead. Maria says she knows that. Ansgar says she having motherly feelings for him and Carla is laughable. Maria says she can't deal with it anymore and that Ansgar treats her like dirt. Ansgar asks if she has it in mind to tell them the truth. Maria tells him she is sorry. Tanja says the delivery should be given to her personally.
Maria asks Elizabeth to wait a second. She tells her that she has thought it over and would like to carry out the wish of her daughter, and she is welcome to stay at the castle whilst Carla is away. Elizabeth says that Maria can't make that decision alone. Maria says 'why not' and she is the head of the family. Elizabeth thanks her and says she'll think it over. Ansgar says Maria is going outside her role, and that he thought he made himself clear when he said he wanted rid of Elizabth.
