The Cranberries - ROSES 2012 [..album preview..]

The Cranberries used to be my favourite band. I had all ther albums but unfortunately on cassetettes. I'm seriously thinking of re-buying their frist four albums. The Fifth one - "Wake up and smell the coffee" was weak - repetitive and at times too "pop". This one is significantly better than "Wiake up and smell the coffe". II'll probably buy this one as well, not sure thugh.

I was 14 in 2007 when I was first introduced to The Cranberries. And they are probably the most recent band that I like. I don't really care for any other 90s bands or 2000s bands. The Cranberries stand out, though, because of their melodies, their songwriting gifts, and the fact that they rock, but not insanely loud like most bands do these days. And now, I can't wait to get this record because this is their first in eleven years. Good to know that they're still kickin' and playin' :)

I ve been a huge Cranberries fan since Everybody else................. I usually instantly love all their albums as soona s i hear them but tthis one takes a bit of getting used to. Not as many powerful tracks as id like but im sure i will love it eventually

i've always considered myself on of their biggest fans. there have been instances when i couldn't figure them out and times i couldn't get them out of my head. i like what i'm hearing. after nearly a decade w/o a studio album, this is a great return for them. mature, nostalgic, etheral like EEIDSWCW.. this is what they are best at. not to mention dolores's lyrical contributions seem to be stronger. thumbs up.

Dolores' voice has changed dramatically. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by her first solo album, but everything since has quickly gone the way of the final albums the Cranberries produced. The lyrics are overly simplistic and she puts on a childlike voice that has lost the richness many of us grew to love in the early 90's. In their own words, sometimes it's best to bury the hatchet and sit back and admire the creativity and talent they shared as young adults.

I discovered the greatest music quality that I've ever heard from the Cranberries.

Dolores' voice is good, really good.

It is a very mature album.

A very special sound and melodies in the songs...

Fire and Soul has me just like a fool... Roses, SP, Tomorrow (I think that it is the best choice for the first single), Rainning, Losing, Waiting... Well, all the album is pure the Cranberries.

I really love what the Crans have done with 'Roses', what an album.
