  • I always thought there first self titled Cd was the best! rock on!

  • I met these guys in 2001 great time Alex albert project 86's old drummer was such an awesome guy praying over him and getting the chance to meet the band was one of the highlights of 2001 for me i experienced God in creation festival. I had gotten my drawing black lines cd autographed and i gave that album to my friend but i still have one of alex alberts drum sticks :D

  • Reminds me a lot of old school P.O.D.. (Selah) AWESOME!!!

  • you cant get anymore atheistic than myself, yet still LOVE this music and so many other bands of the genre... amazing what music can do to someone

  • This is the second time I've ever seen this vid. The first time was in 99, and was the first time I ever heard Project 86. Blew my mind!

This is one of the most underrated bands ever!

  • 4:20 - end, his face looks like he has lost his damn mind, but in a good way!

  • I love the background moaning they do 3/4 the way through the song, so sweet. Still trying to figure out the meaing of this song. I'm thinking its about being lukewarm, and truely desciding whether you're a Christian or not. Jesus escentially says in Revalations, that He would rather people be firey Christians or people who hate him, rather then being somwhere in the middle.

Anyone got any idea of what this song could mean?

God bless Pj86 and you guys.

    :)

  • i think my bands playing a show with these guys. i never heard of em tho lol

  • i just heard of this band and it's already made top 3 easy

  • It's a beautiful thing to know that Christians aren't limited to hymns. Love the hymns, but sometimes you just need a little good ol' giant killing music! HALLALUJAH!!!

  • Now that's old PJ86! Sounds like Rage!

  • THIS SOULS ON THE BRINK OF COLLAPSE

  • Punch...

  • Haha this song is in the movie ExtremeDays. Best movie ever!

  • love it

  • !!! Great song, I did security for the stage they where on at the soul fest. Slept on it that night. Found some picks but dont know if it where theres.

  • P86 went to shit when Alex left

  • great band... great song... great god!!

  • I own two signed drumsticks, 3 signed guitar picks and the very original p86 dragon tshirt! Love these guys and always will

  • I've seen band live like 7 times. They never let me down.

  • what move?

  • look if i change like 3 notes deftones can't pin us with a lawsuit lol they want that riff to be head so much it hurts

  • Hahahaha. Yeah, this song is a total rip off.

  • What? are you talking about?

  • Best Project 86 song ever!!!!!!

  • My head hurts from Headbanging!!!!! XD

  • LOL

  • @HeartofTheWarrior555 Miiiiiiiiiiiiiine tooooooooo! :- D

  • um this is the same singer. the voice is the same and he looks the same, just a little different now cuz he's older. really good song with a bridge that transitions into a killer outro. very melodic and fantastic sounding

  • kids,kids,kids.....your both just terrible.

  • That's youst youre opinion! What is youre cool band Take that or Backstreet boys?

  • Adema

  • the song is good but the quality sucks

  • goes into like a completely new song at 3:20 its sick

  • Saw P.O.D. and Project 86 back in the 90's.......awesome show!

  • Isa Akbar!!!!!!!!

  • LOOOL

    BUDHA AKBAR!

  • Heh my gradnmum uekber!

  • man andrew looks badass in this! i like it how each album is different, this album sounds quite a bit like P.O.D. its great!

  • WOOO I LOVE PROJECT 86

  • i like the vibes im getting from these people. first time hearing them x)

  • That spinny part around 3-ish made me dizzy.

    =P

  • lol it was a little hard for me to look at too lol

  • Song reminds me of the summer of 99 when I had jus surrendered my life to Christ and discovered bands like Project 86, P.O.D., Blindside, Zao, and Gryp. Good times!! :D Thank you Jesus!!!

  • Bless you my friend from Croatia!!!I am christian, Jesus helped me when it was worst time for my life! And I grew up on metal bands like Pantera and Sepultura, hc ny and all that, and I am happy when I see bands with integrity and reason!!!

  • Amen! Thanks 4 sharring :) God is good! Romans 1:16 always my friend.

  • If you two haven't discovered the band Demon Hunter, i would suggest looking them up as well. An amazing Christian band, like Project 86, but a different sound.

If it weren't for Jesus Christ and God. I would be dead.

  • Amen 2 that! Yah, I own every DH album except the new live 1 they jus put out but thanx tho! Jus saw Project 86 live for the 1st time ever at the beginning of the month & it was really cool! :D

  • I am a christian too and I think Pantera is probably the best metal band that ever existed, I'm also into the whole NYHC scene... I don't think there's nothing wrong with that, it's just a matter of staying strong and true to your beliefs and your faith... Project is awesome by the way

  • I agree, Pantera has power!I also listen to other bands, that are not christian bands, but I dont listen to bands with evil and bad lyrics, you know, I 'm not a styupid kid today, blesses in Jesus name from Croatia!

  • hahahahah same man!

  • @mshelton0222 so cool man we belong to the same family brothah! Blessings:D

  • @mshelton0222 dont forget PAX 217!

  • Andrew looks weird completely and utterly bald. o:

  • This si awesome!! back in the day when Project 86 was good...

  • lol @ 4:23

  • wow well lets say i used to like this band, until i just saw him, he looks like a huge wigger retard.

    learn to be white. sheesh

  • lol. this aint no metal core!

  • banda nota 1000

very good form brazil ! :D

  • only good rapcore out there

  • AHAAHH!!

I think that you dont know nothing...

try bands like Genuflect and Pleymo, they kicks any band ass...

and theres like others 20 amazing bands of this genre...

  • genuflects vocalsarent that great and pleymos to industrial for me

  • Yeah, this is back before they decided "Hey, arn't we all just sick of making amazing music? yeah, let's do Rival Factions instead" BIGGEST ALBUM DISSAPOINTMENT EVER

This is back when they toured with Blindside and POD.

And Randy's playing an SG.... never seen that, lol

  • dood you are sooo right...thier first album was best...

  • i like drawing black lines the most

  • lol i agree rival factions sucked ass. i was sad from it was expecting better. but there newest one is better at least.

  • what do u mean so u mean this is a bad band

  • Yeah i didnt like rival factions at first but it grew on me, the new album sounds like it might be a step backwards

  • Man they have changed so much.

  • Its cool Rock video, project 86 my best group

  • dude this is like

    Nu-metal right??

  • It's kinda like Nu-Metal / Rapcore...

  • i think i saw him on the street corner.... spare some change buh-dee?

  • Outstanding! This is one of my favorite songs of the 90's...this album was dope as hell but I didn't really dig what they did after this...

  • This song is good but they changed from then to now.

  • This is Project 86? :-/

  • Yup, from their first album in 1998.

  • project does p.o.d

  • the message is so true.

    stop american secularism!

  • I think Project 86 sounded much better when they rapped!! :)

  • Not only do I like this, I think they will (or should) diversify even more. Experimenting with different styles and sounds will display the true scope of their talent and ability

  • I like old Project 86!!! It's awesome stuff!!

  • nothing like evil or put your lips to the tv this is one of there worst songs

  • Their style changes from album to album. When I bought Rival Factions, I thought those songs sounded bad as compared to their earlier stuff. Now, it has grown on me and I wonder what their sound will be next.

  • Why is is he wearing a Baltimore jersey? I thought they were form CA?

I lived in B-more for a few years and am just woondering.

  • the beat is so cechy! <<33

  • !!!!!!!!!!!que buena banda, de las mejores cristianas

  • uhhh wouldn't that be banda buena? lol i just took 1 semester of Spanish, so im probably wrong

  • no its ok thats way , spanish is very complicated dude just leave that way xD or you'll end with a severe headache

  • very good vocal XD

  • is randy torres the one in the hat???

  • amazing

  • wow! amazing song! one of my favorite prodject 86!

  • nice, kept the original Tooth & Nail Video Compilation intro

  • it's better to just have lead singers in a concert so they can go crazy and interact with the crowd

  • Hey why did Hammur leave the band and when

  • what`s with ryan clark?

  • do you even know who he is?? this one guy said lead singers that dont play anything are a waste of space.. and CORRECTION. I MEANT JOHNNY ROTTEN FROM SEX PISTOLS NOT SID VICIOUS

    thanks..

  • Wow. They've come a long freakin way.

  • wtf this is like rap mixed with death metal... sounds ok

  • I like how TFK, Pillar, Disciple, and P86 all had this rapcore sound early in their career.

  • i know exactly what you mean.

  • vocals are instruments just like any other. only easier to control and it costs less.

  • Some would say the same about people who can't spell. =D

  • is that the best thing you can come up with?

  • So Zach de la Rocha is a waste of space in Rage Against The Machine? Steven Tyler is a waste of space in Aerosmith?

  • yep, or they should learn to play guitar and then they dont need just a guitarist.

  • That would suck for RATM. no one can completely copy Tom's style. Plus, that would be really hard using all of those pedals while yelling into the mic. Have you seen Tom's setup?

  • ok so i guess ryan clark sucks in demon hunter? sid vicius in sex pistols and many many many others..

  • was this video before or after the big fro?!? lol!! I love these guys!

  • Before the big fro because Andrew grew it out during the "Drawing Black Lines" sessions, which took place following this video, which was for a song that appeared on their self titled album. Plus, you can tell the guys look much younger in this video than they are now.

  • at first i didnt think this was project cause andrew looks so different

  • lol yea, that was him when he was yunger. lol

  • how i love this song..!!!!!

  • project 86 is a great band. always comin up with great stuff. drawing black lines is prolly one of the best cd's of all time for christian or secular music.

  • o shit nvm its under little green men o well i guess i was wrong o well watev but if u type in little green men instead theres a better version

  • this sint project 86 its some other band go on lik itunes and look at p86's cd's and ull see that this song isnt on ANY of their albums beside its a different genre and if u get half a glance at the singer u can tell that that guy isnt him dude i saw them live after the singer shaved his head and trust me that's not him in this vid

  • Yes it is I have the CD and it's in the booklet and just cause it isn't on iTunes doesn't mean it's not a CD check your fricking resources.

  • yeah dude relax if u look at my comment after i put that first one i even said that i was wrong damn man read everything someone says before u try tearing them down

  • I read that and I thought you were talking about something else.

  • nope

  • oh my bad man.

  • its all cool

  • really? I kind of ie this song, but there are better ones off the album. But their new stuff is WAY better.

  • freak no well at least the way i see it their old stuff was WAY better than this well then again this is the only song i heard off the new one well either way i lik the old stuff

  • I like all of it. They still have some heavy stuff on Rival Factions.

  • yeah well i hav rival factions and i lik that one

  • Oh what one don't you like?

  • k prolly just this one since i havnt heard anything else from this cd

  • Oh. Well on this CD, they have some good songs, but some of them are kind of weird. Almost experimental.

  • this song blows compared to most of there stuff... i honestly cant belive its the same singer

  • Project 86's music has definitely progressed in complexity and theme, but it isn't "Better". Every band has their glory days at the beginning of their carrier, this is the point when they do their most original pieces. Towards the end becomes 1 of two things: Selling out to a higher paying label, or an enhancement of their original intent and style. The two are not and shouldnt be confused as the same thing. To say their new music is "better", well thats downright discrediting the origin.

  • your a tard.

  • thank you sir i take that as a compliment

  • good stuff, miss the old school, but i still dig the newer stuff...

  • great song. Ive listened to it about 25 times sinse I first saw it about 3 days ago lol

  • looks like the 90s lol

  • wow!! This was like 10 years ago!!! Loved them. My favs ever since. project rocks.

  • true. this is one of my favorite project 86 albums though. especially with sonny from POD.

  • genre? it sounds pretty good.:!

  • this video always makes me laugh cuz andrews like trying to be gangsta =)

  • That's because back then their main influence was Rage Against the Machine.

  • oh really? lol

  • i love beyond love this song. pretty amazing.

  • he's got so many different looks, it's interesting

  • this album and 'drawning black lines' are their best IMO. I cant get into the new stuff

  • first vid ever saw from P86, great song

  • the part at the end where he screams is hilarious.

  • I luv project 86,but the problem with this vid is that it doesn't show randy or steve and it barley shows alex

  • Whoa way different than the new Project 86!

  • yeah, way different then the new Project 86, But the new project 86 is better.

have you heard they're song Doomsday stomp on "...and the rest will follow"?

  • there is no new project 86! the lead singer is still andrew schwab, as in this movie, and the guitarists and the drummer is the same

  • lies! Alex Albert the drummer left the band a year ago to pursue other interests! they dont currently have a full time drummer!

  • yeah thats true, but the guitarists and the singer are still the same!!

  • actually, they had a guitarist named korey (I think that was his name) but he left very early on. and the bassist has changed temporarily at one point too...

  • but in this clip are the same guitaristbass and singer as the have now

  • i hate there newest cd it's garbage he sound friging drunk when he sings, the drums are nowhere near where they were and they lost there sound. up to song to burn your bridges by they were great.

  • Wow dude. Wow.

  • It's the 80's influence on that album. The drums suck because Alex Albert left after their 6th album. You have to give them a bit of credit though. Unlike 95% of the bands out there, they have yet to stagnate. They are always trying to do something they haven't done before, and that takes guts.

  • old school p86, greatness.....

They are a great band and should be bigger than they are. Way better then POD and bands like that that got popular.

  • i wouldn't say better than pod. i like POD better, but both good bands

  • Andrew is such an awesome lyricist, I can't believe 86 isn't bigger than they are, the music they come out with sounds head ans shoulders above alot of the crap on MTV or FUSE-I'm just sayin'

  • dang this is olddddd

  • why is there always a different singer in their music videos????

  • same singer dude

  • ddaaaaayyyyyyyyuuummm. i member when this song first came out. hahaha wow im old. no not rlly. these guys r the BEST!!

  • man this old

  • lol...randy looks so weird with his hat and his baggy pants.

  • Wow...Andrew is rapping...

  • yeah, they were labeled "Rapcore" when they first came out, even though they really weren't, it was popular back then

  • yea kinda like pillar

  • i just bought Truthless Heros on iTunes for 9.99! go get it!

    17 songs 4 9.99

  • That was really nu metal. Is it the same singer??
