  • Nice! My neighbor has one of these, except its a manual transmission, but I want to buy his! Thanks Kyle!

  • Classic Ford Truck

  • Awesome truck good tunes except it's to dam red

  • nice..love the 6th generation f-series, and my favorite vehicleis 1973-1975.

  • looks like aunt bethany drove it through a nitro glycerin plant

  • Super nice piece I agree with some of the lower comments in regards to using a black interior style and of they could of used the original wheel style that would of been terrific . A beautiful show car indeed I'll take two...

  • Ford Built Badass

  • ford f100

  • 1979

  • 1978

  • change the paint two a two tone red and black change the interior to black put some chrome on the back tailgate and it would be alot better

  • HOW MUCH????

  • Red interior in a red truck.. Fucking ugly, should have made it just plain black.

  • That new radio just looks out of place with most the other stuff being original inside.

  • If I bought it, I'd swap a stepside bed onto it.....

  • Probably the worst color combo ever seen on a truck.

  • I think the radio is a mistake. Hide it in the glovebox or something

  • @MangoSmoothie16 thats where the radio goes....

  • @MangoSmoothie16 its supposed to go in the dash like that

  • @mudboggin178 I know but its a brand new radio in a truck from the 70's. Put a defective oem one where the new one is and hide the new one in the glove box so it looks stock

  • @MangoSmoothie16 ohh i see what your saying now

  • @mudboggin178 yeah. just my opinion though.

  • @MangoSmoothie16 not a bad opinion actually it brings in the new tec. but also leaves the classicness of the truck

  • @Spennys78F-100Custom

Your first truck is a Ford F-100? Those are actually pretty rare. Good luck! :)

  • @TheGamerboy54 My dad has one its in pretty bad shape but runs great

  • Do you have a Ford Focus on your channel?

  • man that is a beautiful truck. Love the old trucks.

  • real nice truck..but i think that is a 429 or 460 and not a 351...

  • man, what a sexy truck!

  • No oil pressure? o.O (top left gauge on instrument cluster)

  • how much is it

  • im getting my dads old 78' F-100 Custom with a rebuilt 302 all done by him. we are restoring it for my first truck!!! so pumped Dark Blue EXT. and White with blue contrast stich interior, all oroginal interior !! :)

  • *Sobs* IT'S RED!!!! *Sobs*

  • My dad has a 1983 f150

  • I love this video that truck is beautiful.

  • That thing got a hemeh??

  • Looks like a 1975-1991 Ford Econoline instrumental panel dashboard :)

  • Did anyone els see the whole bed shake when he revved it?!

  • is it still for sale and how much?

  • nice sonds good

  • My son owns a body shop in Pampa Texas and he is totally restoring a '78 with about 80,000 miles on it! He had a very powerful '78 with a 460, this new one will be its' twin! Cragars and all!

  • /watch?v=DeQxg1dX5AQ the version made in my country, still one of the best pickups, check the new F-100 from my country too, over there u've got the new F.100 or only the F-150?

  • you had me until you opened the hood. 351 :( lets see a 4.9 or a 302

  • @KLX1990 why would you take a 302 over a 351?

  • @Terminxman I'd take a 302 over a 351 any day, 351's weren't very good engines but the 351 Windsor is OK.

  • @KLX1990 351s are no joke... check the old Boss 351

  • @1SirCarlton 385 series engines are no joke check out the 429 cobra jet. or just a stock 460

  • @KLX1990 yeah i know about the 385 series... torque monsters.

  • one question why would they put the in line filter after the pump???

  • that is such a nice truck , like the sound of it too.

  • wats the size of those tiers

  • What type of exhaust does it have?

  • A un puto nomas no le tiene que gustar..

  • Has a aftermarket tailgate(doesn't say ford on it) which will bend and warp if used very much. Instrument cluster has been changed out, it has a 100mph speedo instead of 85mph and doesn't say "unleaded fuel only" on the gas gauge.

  • That's a nice truck

  • 420!

  • uuuuuuum 6:20 either that truck is fucked and has like no oil pressure and within 50 miles that engine will be siezed to shit or it has a bad oil pressure sending unit, by the sounds of it its the second option but still if you do have oil problems come up you'll never know till its to late fuckin cheap ass used car dealer ships

  • hi!! :) I have a question about the exhaust on this truck, Does it have Headers, catalytic converter, what size exhaust and what type of mufflers? it sounds great!

  • Not to be a know-it-all or something like that but...

The wheels are American Racing Outlaw II's.

I think the wheels look great on that truck though!!

  • im getting same old old pickup from my uncle in 4 months for my 16th birthday, its all original, got 8k miles, standard transmission. the interior is mostly black and red, i'll try and upload a video when i get it, so subscribe

  • @x719Tutorials Well you better take really good care of it! And not thrash on it!

A truck with 8K original miles is something you're not likely to find again.

  • got to love them old ford pickups

  • the 1973-1979 Ford F100 was assembled in Dearborn, Michigan, USA Edison, New Jersey, USA Kansas City, Missouri, USA Louisville, Kentucky, USA Norfolk, Virginia, USA San Jose, California, USA St. Paul, Minnesota, USA Wayne, Michigan, USA Cuautitlan, Mexico General Pacheco, Argentina Oakville, Ontario, Canada
  • too bad its not a 4x4

  • My grandpa has a F100 identical to this, but his is black. Any one know where I can take it to get a full restoration?

  • wow that radio was so ahead of it's time

  • @swiftprov please tell me your kidding

  • That is a nice truck!!! I wish trucks still looked like this! I want one!

  • is there hazerds?

  • @MrZimzam Yes the switch is located under the steering wheel

  • @xxxxxxxMETALLICA awesome thanks!

  • @MrZimzam are you an idiot?

  • @fonzi1938 no are you?

  • bed liner nice. the tailgate didnt get bed lined though

  • @saabkyle04 little low on Oil there Kyle?

  • REQUEST!!! 69 dodge charger

  • I love these "semi-classics" from the 70s and 80s.

  • dam she sounds nice!

  • @HwkyPlrs 351 cubic inches or roughly 5.7 liters.

  • @person1492 ford calls it a 5.8 in the fuel injected motors

  • can u review the bmw x6 ?

  • thats a 79'

  • @2012mchammer Umm no sorry, it's a 78

  • who else saw the mileage 420 lol

  • nice, back when a truck was a truck, unlike the trucks they make today

  • Nice truck but I would be concerned about the position of the oil and temp gauges...oil is reading low and the temp is reading high for sitting and idling for few moments.

  • The horsepower specification is right. It looks like the motor has been rebuilt and they really didnt have much power back then. Even a 1978 mustang GT only had 139hp and today a GT has well over 400 hp. Automotive engineering has come a long way

  • @chorstma44 Preciate the extra insight bud!

  • @chorstma44 i wouldnt consider 412 "well over"

  • a 68 mustang had well over 400hp from the factory too dumb ass, the only reason 78's were bad is emissions laws

  • Haha love the matching wunderbaum :D Really nice truck!

  • loved it thank you

  • Pink Floyd ftw

  • haha nice runs like a dream i would look so much better with black interior or white dont ya th ink ?

  • @ch0l0sk8r I think the red/burgundy is very unique! very welcoming

  • This thing is awesome

  • wish you were here

  • I wonder if that 351 Windsor is original to that truck. Whoever did the restoration did a nice job! My grandpa and my dad both had one of these!

  • @jammer96 Not a windsor. Its a 351m. I agree with you its a nice truck but there is alot of flaws with it.

  • 163 HP?!

  • @ferniee16 Yep, correct

  • @saabkyle04 Wow, that's cool :D Awesome truck!! thumbs up man! keep it up:D

  • @saabkyle04 can you please! do that mazda miata at 0:14

  • @ferniee16 It's only an I-6..

  • @DK99824 look at the annotation at 3:16

  • @ferniee16 yeah sorry, realised that afterwards..

  • @DK99824 don't worry about it :D nice truck still(:

  • @ferniee16 It's cause one of my buddies has an almost identical truck with the straight six

  • @DK99824 ohh cool (: I was almost going to by a truck similar to this with the I6. Not the fastest, but the torque numbers in these trucks aren't bad(:

  • @ferniee16 You should, I don't know much about it because it is his winter vehicle; he's got a '71 plymouth duster with a slanted 6

  • @DK99824 thats pretty cool :D and ya i own a 4.3l silverado currently hahaa but i would get an older f150 if i could

  • @ferniee16 Nice, beats my schwinn 10 speed :P

  • @ferniee16 this isnt a street beast this is how they came back in the day thats what most collecters want

  • @ferniee16 there was a lot of pollution control out during this time period and that brought the engines power way down

  • @MrOdogowen Lol yeah I know. We studied all that political junk of the time period in school

  • @ferniee16 blame it on that asshole al gore

  • That Motor has more then 168 HP !

  • @ford1979truck Haha surprising as it may seem, that's all, look it up :) idk about this truck if it's been modded but that's the orig specs

  • @saabkyle04 Thats probably what it makes at the wheels. This truck was made in an awesome time, when a manufacturer could just lie to get out of insurance hikes and meet emissions standards, instead of filling a vehicle fully of heavy, useless crap;)

  • @ford1979truck well under the hood you can tell its aftermarket parts and it had a custom exhaust with no cats .

and if the guy who owned it before rebuilt the motor wich he more then likly did he probly swaped out the piston and rings.

  • Most Beautiful Trucks is the LATE 78 to 79 F-serious trucks i LOVE THEM

  • A very very nice and beautiful truck!!!! Whoever restored this truck, did a wonderful job on it. I am very impressed that it started up so easily. I think Ford had carburator and choke issues on their vehicles from that era. My family had a 73 Mercury Marquis and a 76 Ford LTD that both had carburator and choke issues, and would not start well from time to time in the winter. This truck is going to make somebody a very nice toy. I can't see anybody using it for work duties.

  • Man this is a beautiful Ford truck, i miss how cars, and trucks used to be, Always sounded mean, built strong, durable, never torqued, or bent, Good old American Craftsmanship! She also sounds damn Good.

  • no horn?

  • A car fit or a cowboy.

  • Yikes! $8,000 seems like a lot; but then, its a Ford so its okay

  • Comment removed

  • beautifull truck !

  • daaaang all red inside and out looks sharp

  • gotto love those old american cars!

  • i would kill myself if i wrecked it

  • This is a sunny weekend truck right here

  • Engine size?

  • @maine684 haha thats funny i live in Maine! Anyway yea mist vehicles older than 1980 dont have hazard light setups! Thats why he turned on the directional.

  • Im sorry this is probably the dumbest question you will get but, How come you dont turn on the hazards? Is it because the older cars dont have them? Just wondering :) thanks

  • that is a real truck. Screw you darn kids these days jacking them up with your 6 disc changers, sub-woofers and leather seats. Trucks are meant to work and be functional. Give me this ol' rig, my baby girl beside me on the bench and a case of Canadian in the bed to drink by the lakeside while were snugglin' in the bed under the stars, yah, thats what truck are all about...... Beautiful truck Kyle...one of my FAVORITE videos of your now!

  • Now that is what Quality is all about! Both truck and video!

Sure is one nice little truck! Thanks alot for the great tour onces again :)

  • more videos of your hyundai Genesis Coupe!!!Please kyle

  • Today I made a best move this month. I subscribed to you. I am so happy that i subscribed you :))))))

  • @Putekrapstis Thanks buddy! Hope u enjoy all the vids :)

  • @saabkyle04 Thanks for the video Kyle. This gives me inspiration again to restore my Dad's two tone silver/burgundy '78 F-100 Ranger with a 302. It was going to be my first vehicle but we never got around to fixing it and had been sitting for so long so I don't even know if it will still crank with the old fluids but structurally nearly the whole vehicle is in good shape. Keep bringing in the good finds.

  • My dad used to have one of those. It was a good old truck!

  • I love old cars and trucks like this. this is a beautifull Machine.

do more vids on old cars and trucks like this

  • Just a question. Why do you and many other people think that a popping exhaust sounds good? It sounds nice on the rev up, but when it slows down its like pop pop pop pop, and it shoots unburnt fuel out the exhaust. Sorry, but that doesn't sound good to me...

  • @Josh1223334444 we will all change it just for you...lol ... I dunno, everyone has different tastes...I myself hate "fartboxes" you see on Hondas and any Import really, UGH....sound horrible, I can make the same sound with my weed wacker.....and its electric...lol And just as a heads up, that popping sound is not the exhaust system itself, its the cam in the motor making the exhaust note "lumpier".

  • Can you do a 1st gen dodge cummins truck

  • luv your vids keep it up

  • Always Pink Floyd

  • I like the trim that goes all the way around

  • lynard skynrd FTWWW

  • I dont like the red interior

  • I just picked a 59 f100 last week cant wait to restore it

  • @jb1994777 Make vids about it and i will subscribe. Watching restos in progress is fascinating.

  • @The1FastGP thats an awesome idea, it will be a slow but sure process because my funds are not prime for a quick restore but from the looks of it. the exterior will be the biggest part of the it because mechanically, the truck is very good besides the carb

  • @jb1994777 Have you seen restodan's video about the 63 Impala? It is a very good video. I understand the budget, i have a 06 Grand Prix that i want to modify, mostly performance with a custom interior, halo/smoked lights, wheels, and a repaint of the factory paint( chips, scratches, road wear) cept im unemployed right now and can't do nothing.

  • @The1FastGP No but ill check it out, yeah im 16 so i def get the unemployed thing it sucks but you do what you can with waht you got, i've been building cars with my dad since i was around 4 handing my dad wrenches under his 66 el camino i've been hooked on car's ever since. The lucky thing is there is a warehouse near in my town that caters specifically to old fords so it shouldn't be hard to get the parts we need.

  • Love this truck! Beautiful inside and out. Well worth the 8 grand to buy it in my opinion. Kyle rocks as always! How can someone not like this truck?! Shoot...if I had the money, I would take this over a new one any day! The craftsmanship in the good old days were incredible.

  • What a masculine mobile :)

  • My uncle had a 78 f350 ranger high body all black with chrome rims and exhaust it was nice. Did anyone else notice the mileage and the scratch on the back right by the tailgate

  • this truck is nice but i would totally put a lift and tires on it!

  • kyle04 how many miles does 1978 Ford F100 have

  • the bud davis truck but shortbed, red and without a roll bar, lights and wheeles.

  • Too bad you didn't record the part when you drove it in that parking space.

  • nice cowboy boots :D

  • clean truck

  • God that's beautiful! I really like how whoever fixed this up didn't "customize" it with a bunch of crap like power windows + locks, bucket seats, different steering wheel ect...

  • awsome i like the 1979 better

  • Hello Kyle, if you ever find a 1985-1989 Toyota MR2, please do a review :)

  • I want to see your new Ford Fairlane, kyle. Please do a long testdrive.

btw it would be nice if you could show the street a little more, not only the steering wheel.

  • @TheO496 I will have the review video up today. I will make the test drive after I get some things fixed on it, it's at the shop right now just getting checked out before I take it down to my apt with me

  • Wow you could fit a huger engine in it.

  • What a beautiful truck.

I would keep it garaged though, not kill zombies with it.

  • This is way to nice of a truck to go around and kill the zombies with. woudnt matter anyway it would just clean right off. these trucks are TANKS!

  • What a beauty. I almost bought a 79' from my friends dad, but I found my Dodge just before. Still wouldnt min owning one! Thanks for the upload!
