It's clear to see that you and me have a very different idea of what the Blues is all about.

I'm not a blues-rock fan, nor a KWS fan.

J.Bonamassa can maybe technically outplay most other guitar players, I agree on that.

But the Blues isn't about competition and being able to show off IMHO.

It's about touching the heart.

Peter Green,for instance,does that for me Bonamassa fails to do so.

I got to go to this concert in Austin - Pine Top Perkins and some other legends performing with KWS. It was truly awesome. So lucky that someone like KWS was willing to go out and find these guys and play for them. Simply incredible.

I think that KWS compliments Neal Pattman and Cootie Stark really well and it's thanks to his dvd release of "10 Days Out" that their music and that of the others featured have found a whole new audience.

Just a pity that so many of them passed on shortly after the release - but treasured memories none the less.

Im glad he did the cd "Ten Days Out", if he hadnt several of the artist of the cd would never of been heard by most of the public, they died not long afterwards. Gatemouth, one of the two in this video and several others died also.

Just to let you know, Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown is not in this particular video. The one-armed harp player is Neal Pattman, and the guitarist right of him is Cootie Stark. Gatemouth does show up later in the song "Born in Louisiana"
