Very beautifully sung but indeed, both somehow sound lighter than usual. If I didn't know Raimondi was a bass-baritone, I'd never think it.

This is pitched a half-step higher than written. Perhaps the pitch was raised electronically rather than performed in a different key and the transposition makes it sound brighter.
