Hey Ace, r u still having random 2 rd burst issues? If so, contact DPMS & tell them what's going on. @ 1st, it sounded like u were bump firing ur rifle, but that is intentional (not like what ur describing). Best to talk to the manufacturer instead of the Feds (don't jam urself up;remember "...anything u say WILL b used against u in a court of law'), & document day/time/company ppl u speak w/. I have an SAR1 Ak47 and it popped off a threee round burst at the range one day I almost shitted! the range is full of Feds and off duty officers. its a good thing they were helpful that day, they told me to get the gun checked out. i went home and cleaned it up real good and its been good to go.

Great vid man! That is so true about the "big boys" of youtube. I'm a big nutnfancy fan but everytime I ask a question I dont get a reply from him. His sister replies for him. Kind of disrespectful to the people who support him. He has a ton of subs but I will always try to answer and get involved with the people that support me. And thats true about the range. The indoor range I use to go to charge way to much. But my outdoor range is free and is nice. Now I'm using my mother-n-laws land. :)

Wow man. Here in south Carolina we have a totally free range to go to. Open sun up to sun down. Its out in the country but it is set up nice on U.S. Forestry service land. It's first come first serve. Check with your areas forestry service to see if they have a public range. It may be out in the sticks but it's worth it.

My main gripe with my range is the restrictions on what i can actually fire at. Paper, no silhouettes, no reactive targets nothing but round paper. When the range is empty (which is surprisingly often) i mount clay pigeons up and fire at, Another issue is i can really only fire off of one spot in the rifle range, the far right or im blasting my neighbors with casings.

My last range was a joke too man! It was full of old heads with their 1911's and big mouths. They expected all the members to chip in and cut the grass,build targets clear all the trails of debris and shit and I was like I pay to shoot here and you expect me to cut the grass? HELLLLLL NO! u just have to take a drive a drive one day down some back roads and find a nice spot, fire a few rounds and see if anybody shows up! me and my friends did that and now we have a spot in the woods to set up and pratice run and gun and speed reloads and shit. but awesome vids. the time is good cuz its not like ur just spewing bulshit, ur actually talking about stuff! im subbin!

Call dpms and let them tell you if it's okay or email the atf if you dare lol! Seriously I emailed them a question if you're not doing anything wrong then no reason to fear them but for my two cents if it fires more than on round per trigger pull it's illegal and the gun needs to be fixed. I wouldn't risk it until the law and the manufacture tells me otherwise.

By the way, you probably should get your AR-15 fixed. I saw a story on tv about a guy in the national guard who got into big trouble from his AR-15 malfunctioning and firing 3 round burst at a gun range.

Here in tn I shoot by the mississipii river. Idont do long range shooting because of you never know if anyone is out there or not. But 30 40 yards is long enough

Man, it sounds like you have really shitty ranges around your area. I know there's one range near me that REALLY sucks ($20 per visit or $200 per year) and it's like how you describe. OTOH, There's a range a bit farther out that is $5 and it has targets out to 1000 yards and it's fun as hell. Best bet is to find a Dept Land Management land near by and bring a friend along.

Nice vid bra the ranges here are str8 we got a indoor range called openrange its a pistol range on one side with moving targets 25yds. and on the other side its a 100yds. long gun range anything under a .50cal is ok. And as 4 the bigdawgs on YT i dont even comment cause they dont answer so i just keep it moving also nice AR thats my next pick rockriver entry tactical peace.

sounds like you really need to find a better outdoor range!!! the one i go to is out to 100 yards, and the range instructors are always sitting next to me and talking with me, and helping me, giving me advice, its really a great time every time i go, and thats the way it should be.

The thing is when you are trying to twist the wood off the tube you have to squeeze the whole thing making sure the inside of the wood stays as close to the tube as possible. If the wood lifts up at all it will tighten and not come off. Just try to keep preasure from 2 sides(top of the wood and the oposite side on the tube). Try that and it should work

Sounds Like Markham Park. You can keep your own brass, cause I do. The solution to your problem is to join TSSA. You can go to Carbine drill and not be fussed over so much, as long as you are a safe shooter. Rapid fire all you want and you can shoot prone, standing sitting and even upside down!!!! Seriously we shot upside down once behind a wall, then we carried a dummy while shooting, it was extremly fun. Message me for more info.

its a retainer spring, on the gas tube that is, you can take it out, just take a pair of pliers and grab the tube buy the part that touches the front trunnion and then rotate the piece of wood, it may be hard buy you can get it out

hold the gas tube and twist the wood the gas lever is loose because the gas tube slide ramp is about 0.010 short i have gotten kits with that problem and i just welded it and grinded it down to size if you have any ak parts stocks or anything to sell message me "ana firearms"
