  • Good to see you are size 11!!!

  • Cool guys! ^^

  • so the maschine is strictly midi?

  • this is paul lassiter after the show got cancelled :P

  • Wow they really put me off buying one

  • whats better? this machine or a mpc500 ?

  • @1KillaSkrilla1 Maschine has the same benefits of working with a dedicated hardware (like MPC) but without the limitations of it (memory for example), and if you like to use virtual instruments and FXs, Maschine with the 1.6 update is the deal cuz it can host plugins. Everything for about 599 $. So...

  • @Paladinoocara Cool i´ll definitly look into it more...I gotta friend sellin a mpc500 for like 500$ but if i can get a used maschine even cheaper ima roll with that...gotta try that shit. Thanks for the info

  • Are these pads a lot better than korg kontrol 49? Is the software good?

  • sup.. i see u know a lot about maschine i just got it a week ago and im getting crackles.. went to the support sit and i cant figa it out..i will appreciate it if you can help me wit that if you can!

  • What a shit machine

  • yoo is there a metronome that i can use right before i record my beat or like a countdown???

  • @beantownn54 in Maschine for count-in hit shift+record

  • 1:16 = 128 ;)

  • how many snare have this mashine

  • look cool but i work whit reason i tink its gona be sh*t for me

  • Dude... Olivia is damn HOOT, and seems like she got skills... thats fuckin' sexy

  • Don't buy this from this piece of crap company. I bought one off ebay from Seller djdeals_inc and he told me that there was no difference between the educational version and the regular. I sold it on craigslist after I decided I didn't like it. The new buyer was not able to register it because YOU CANNOT TRANSFER THE LICENCE. So now I'm supposed to be stuck with it. The ebay seller was a dick for misleading me and taunted me through e-mail. Native instruments was uncooperative and didn't help!

  • @chriscash1982 I've experienced so much of shit like that, it's fucking horrable and makes you wonder if many of the DJ companies are corrupt D:

  • @chriscash1982 you should of check most education software/hardware you cant sell on thats why its £100 cheaper. Native instruments are the one of the leader in digital production and dj software/hardware.

  • @chriscash1982

how much will you sell this for? email me and let me know

    BIGBOOMONE

  • @BIGBOOMONE

Thats the thing dog. Even if I did sell it to you, you couldn't use it. IT will not allow you to transfer licenses. Corrupt ass company

  • @chriscash1982 Dude that is 100% your own fault for not checking what the difference between the educational and normal versions were.

You can't blame NI (not IT so you know...) for you not reading the fine print.

  • @JetboyOZ Hi Native Instruments!

  • @chriscash1982 Hmm not Native Instruments, just a consumer who doesn't impulsively buy things then blame the manufacturer when they aren't happy.

  • One of the Best online music stores ever!

  • OK NOW I' M YELLING XAXAAXXAXAAXAXXAXAAX

  • Did you just say "it doesn't make any sound of its own", then say "it come with whole ton of sounds"?

  • @davdcl499 It's a controller but it comes with it's own software that includes plenty of sounds

  • @davdcl499 It's a controller/software package. The controller doesn't make any sounds on it's own, it drives the software that has the sounds

  • lololololol 3:54

  • i have a problem. i recently bought the maschine and whenever i play anything on the maschine, i cant hear anything. i can see that the sounds are registering but i just dont hear anything. (i only hooked it up to my notebook) CAN ANYONE HELP ME!! -_-

  • @IIGh0st first off i suggest going onto the NI forums as the maschine section is very very active. secondly check your sound output in your audio midi settings and also check your master volume and group and pad mutes.

  • Go learn to play tunes, guys, this is leading nowhere fast (except maybe we'll lose the use of three fingers on each hand through lack of use). Laughable not radical..

  • I LOVE THE BEAT AT THE END.

  • a girl on a beat machine?....i love it

  • @Tempo2010 .......... not as good as a girl on your meat machine !

  • Is it possible to control the Maschine by another midi/usb controller instead of its own dedicated one?

  • Does this work with Logic? Can I plug it in like my M-Audio Axiom 25 and just work with Logic?

  • @Moros503

nope. you will have to use the software that came with it. but you should be able to use it with logic as a vst plug in though. now i could be wrong but that is what i was told

  • @Moros503 i dont have one but as far from reading and reserch on it i think that it can...

  • Just got one. Check out my channel to hear some maschine stuff, like:

"Waldorf Blofeld + NI Maschine - Florentine".

    Thanks

  • i want one for free.

  • the girl looks better than maschine :D

  • that girl looks nice...

  • so what genres can it play? ALL of them ? I mean - does it have all sort of genres samples in there? 5/5

  • this thing gives me a hardon.

  • ditto

  • Coo' shirt!

  • real time sampling...thing hahahaha

  • What is the window treatment (I am guessing) to the left of the frame?

  • the step recording looks like it sucks ass.

  • James Zabiela and Deadmau5 use it, of course is job is more easier with the Maschine

  • i want it soooo bad

  • greetings....

  • Like, oh my god!

  • The thing is that you can do the same exact stuff on the padKONTROL or EVEN a simple Trigger Finger as long as you know what functions and features to map to the pads knobs and knobs...

Still, it is a controller thou

  • @VIPKYD with software u idiot.

  • well obviously, dumb ass, why do you think it's a controller?

  • is your shoe included? i hope so. :D

  • how about the woman?

  • i needs this now...the many beats i have in store from that piece of equipment got my mouth drooling lol...fl9 had its moments and beaterator is straight...this right here is a samplers dream

  • i know i like mine... can't get it to work on my windows vista 32bit computer but it sure works really well on my windows xp computer...

  • you clearly have no idea what you're talking about... I own one, and it's kinda obvious that you DON'T, and are just hating. And besides, you can always import your own sounds.

  • naa, everyone knows its stinky.

  • dude, quit stirrin shit up

  • haha, be quiet.. because ur talking shit idiot. thats not farty , its easy to get started and its a bit thiner and easier than a groovebox.

  • which software is used here? is it the NI software/sequenzer included with maschine?

  • it comes with the software needed as standalone or vst.

  • got one last week. this thing is a BEAST. You will NEVER want to go back to using a mouse for making music. It not only sounds good but is so much fun. The only gripes are that it has a few bugs and you have to have a fast computer. Extremely worth it. I am officially a hermit now.

  • Forget maschine, Olivia is the piece of gear missing on my setup.

  • ahmen to that

  • is it working with fl studio?

  • why do you wanna use it with fl studio , the maschine-software is much better in every way than fl studio ;)

and you get the maschine only in combo with the software so ... yeah ... c'mon , fl studio is SO 2007 ;)

  • If you think Maschine has greater capabilities than FL Studio, you've probably only played with FL Studio for like, ten minutes.

  • nice shoe!

  • if i had one of these i think all social life would go out the window...

  • the new tool that is been used by Richie Hawtin and Chris Liebing it is really a crazy tool for djing in livesets you can do alot with this product!

  • do you have a special audio interface to hear your sounds? because i can't get mine to sample on windows vista...

  • ok now im yelling

  • This thing is awesome for making beats on the computer

  • Like watching kit demo form the 80's..full circle or what?!!

  • Box of pointless shit!

  • Comment removed

  • what a rip off, whats happened to NI they suck now. same as kore 2 i wouldnt waste £350 just to control some software. i been making music on computers for over a decade now and im shocked where NI have gone. I love NI software but hardware is worthless unles you money you wan to throw away. My advice dont buy. buy a mpc.

  • pfft buy an mpc? they suckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk mpcs shud be Binned!

  • mpc is old 10 years ago -

  • just got it yesterday it says all you have to do to record is press the ply button and then record and it should record. mine doesn't record idk if if i have to be in a mode or what someone please help!!!

  • this looks awesome i gotta get one.

does it work with pro tools

  • yes pro tools can run it as a plugin

  • can this be used as a standalone like an MPC?

  • no, its a midi controller. it doesnt make any sounds on its own. you have to have it hooked up via usb to a pc. then from there you can set your sound loops using mashine program, fl studio, ableton, reason, etc..

  • Thanks, I guess that's still cool.

  • someone please compare this to an MPC 1000 to me? please?

  • mpc 1000 will eat this up and shit it out

  • and why do you say that?

  • it depends on what u need it for if u make real beats not grooves go mpc.. the library is ok..but using it kinda sucks i hated it mpc is just so much easier...and this thing is a fuckin rip off at $600 sound be $200

  • man your good, your answering the questions ive been asking myself over these 2...

what about with the jj inclusive software still?

would you still choose mpc over maschine?

and what was the down side of the library exactly? you can upload ur own clips and all that stuff just like you can with the mpc... so what do u mean by that...

also in terms of build, what do you find is better built and solid wise, this or the mpc...

and im making real beats not grooves as you said.

    thanks again

  • so you're saying that a $1000 standalone beatbox will beat a $600 midi controller? great insight!

  • depends on what u trying to do.. laying drums on a real beat sampling or dj shit

  • damn right

  • about how much did u pay for this one

  • thanks, dope review.

  • she's cute.

  • Excellent video! bought mine from Audiomididotcom. enough features with this unit to get almost any job done. As of May 25, current sound banks has been upped from 14k to almost 16k! High marks awarded here for Instrument sounds! No joke, Mashine is a bargain at twice the price!

  • yea this should do the trick....but at the end of the day..its all comes down to if u have a good ear....

  • I got one :D you can record automation of filters and effects as well.

  • I have one on order-it should have been delivered today

  • did he say "a real time sampling ...thing" ??? lmao ? :P

  • if you had to chose APC 40 or the maschine.... i think the maschine has more features. though, i just put some money down on lay away. but apc 40 seems more for performance than actual production. let me know what you think?

  • maschine because you get more features than just a simple midi controller. you can set it up to pretty much do what the apc can.

  • i just intalled maschine.....cant wait!!!!!!

  • it depends on what you use.

I assume you want to perform live so ableton live is the best choice, the apc40 is built to exactly corrospond to ableton lives controls

personally I've ordered an apc40 as i think just 4*4 is goning to be pretty limited

  • can you seq. this is with a hardware synth. You know seq the midi along with the software. I have a Korg Micro X. it has no seq. I currently use sonar and was wondering can I use this?

  • The first beat is slammin !! Did you make that or is it a factory one?

  • Dont try too hard guys.. wow.

And yo its a lot better than these fools make it out to be, in my opinion they are doing the opposite of marketing in this video. Check out the real videos before making a decision. And this is better than the padkontrol. Padkontrol quit bundling their software, so you are basically only getting a midi controller and drivers. If you dont know anything about midi, or dont want to learn then the korg probably isnt for you.The maschine is like an MPC minus a few things

  • minus a decent midi I/O (for control of other hardware) and only 8 tracks compared to mpc's 64. HOWEVER, this can be changed because the Maschine uses software which could easily be updated to include these two missing features.

  • And another thing, you can get the Maschine for 550 Canadian (448 American). This is very reasonable for what it comes with. (Controller, 15000+ samples (5 gigs), usb cable, software).

There have been poor reviews on Native Instruments customer service though. Hope this all helps anyone considering to buy it. Mine is in the mail if you have any questions ask me in about a week and i will tell you how it really compares.

  • so what do you think about it?

  • Funny story. It got delayed for 3 weeks and I'm still waiting for it to ship!

  • WORD!! damn guys at gigasonic delayed my order a month and I live in korea right now so I have to wait even longer...jesus I want that thing

  • RIP OFF - have you seen the price of this junk

get a padkontrol and go on holiday with the change ;)

  • have u? its actually cheap for what it is

  • Great vid well done guys!

  • haha @ sizzle3207: "You niggas suck at making beats"

    hahaha they definitely do.

tyhe vid was a lil helpful tho

  • same..lol

  • You niggas suck at making beats.

  • This seems like a great tool!

  • Can This Maschine Midi With the Neko Lx5

  • It's better than MPD, but worse than MPC.

  • no no no this thing is way better than an mpc trust me plus it's a little bit smaller and the led lights are crazy for doing easy beats fast

  • But to use most of its features you need a computer. Can you sample on it? Who needs lights on pads?... If you like it so much, then buy. I'm buyin' MPC.

  • yes you can sample on it, the displays allow you to control the whole creative/editing process without even looking at the screen, basiclly making the mouse and keyboard obsolet.

the mpc is cool but for what i do, i need the maschine, i'm ordering one soon

  • a little to expensive? its only 600$ it does alot of stuff, how cheap should it be then?

  • it's new...so you shouldn't expect it to cost less out the gate. Compared to what you can spend $600 on...you need rethink the cost question. The MPD32 is $300 without any software. You can basically consider you are getting all the software for $300 and the hardware for $300. Now when you look at what sampling, groovebox software, synths, you can get for $300...the picture becomes much clearer. MASCHINE is a the new value.

  • nice video.nice olivia i want to get something like this machine i want to make electronic music but i was going to buy the mv 8800 .any ideas which would be the best

  • The price on the MV-8800 has dropped. If you are going to do all of your principle production (sampling, sequencing, tracking, etc) on the MV-8800 then you should get it. However, if you use any modern DAW and desire the unlimited flexibility of software and hardware, you can't beat the MASCHINE promise. I just bought mine tonight....should be arriving later this week. I use Logic, Sonar, ACID, and Live...so it allows me more flexibility than the MV/MPC scenario.

  • i heard you can sample on it like an mpc like scratches is this true?

  • please, dont yell anymore :)

nice gear... but little bit too expensive

  • olivia is cute

  • We plan to do more when time permits... thanks!

    mitchell/audiomidi

  • pretty rad video considering they just got it that day. I want one

  • Thanks for the first maschine video, can you post some more please ?
