I do Nirvana covers, and Kurt did David Bowie, Vaselines, Meat Puppets, Shocking Blue, etc.... covers. I am a huge fan of both seether and nirvana and I think your argument is flawed both did vids with mtv (viacom owned!!!) both played in many different states (including southern ones) and kurt was on a major record label.(DGC is a part of geffen records) so he was on his share of corporate stages. Kurt Cobain and Shaun Morgan both shared the opinion against corporate greed but chances are if you are a popular musician you probably play corparate stages because record companies like making money.
