This may sound odd, but for me the actress picked to portray MaryAnn is a little to cute and innocent in the face. Also she some what on the shorter side: I do think she's very pretty, however, from the book's description i had envision MaryAnn more along the line of an Amazonian female. For me MaryAnn is a tall full, figure fashion diva with a bit of sensuality to her.

While I love who they have as MaryAnn I don't know why they can't stick a long wig on the guys for more accuracy. With the clothing, It is kind of understandable, it is dificult to imagine what a carpathian male wears but seriously.

This is my favorite trailer! Perfect choice of actors. The De La Cruz brothers are among my favorite Carpathians. I can't wait for the book about Zacarias. He will definitely need a strong woman to be his lifemate.

I loved Natalia. I liked Joie. I hated Mary Ann with a passion. She is just irritating in every way possible. In fact I sort of find the South American group of Carpathians to be sort of sleazy. I hope they skip them finally, and get to Skylers story. I won't read about Zacharias, or whatever. he is going to be slimy, I can tell.

I loved MaryAnn. I like the Carpathians that are still living in the mountains. Not really as into the De Le Cruz's but they are hot none the less.

Yes Mary-Anne could be irritating at times but none the less I love the De la Cruz's. I liked her and Manny's story and I cannot wait for Zack's story as well as sky's.

Mary Ann was the funnest, strongest Capathian female in the series. She actually gave something to her man that no other has. I hope we read more of her and that Feehan does a sequel of some sort so that we learn more about her background.

@TruthFan I don't know. She seems like the new breed of Mary Sues. They play hard to get through the entire novel. I just can't respect a woman who has to push a guy away, then pull him back in, then push him away. Thats so high school, no grown woman would ever do that. Normal people don't have silly ideas like "I don't want to be with this guy because Ill lose myself" What the heck do things like that even mean? No real people ever think like that.

What is a Mary Sue? She was one of the strongest female characters. Adult relationships can be complicated not all are the same. Mary Ann was celibate before she met Monolito so I can understand her hesitancy. Anywho she was fighting her attraction to him and didn't want to be dominated by him. To an independent person like her she didn't want to lose her freedom.

I think from all the book trailers, MaryAnn is portrayed the best. The males are kinda rubbish, compared to the books. I think I'll stick with my imagination with it comes to the characters. :)

Excellent trailer Devon Scott looks amazingly like the description of MaryAnn in the book and David Craigmile is very good as Manolito: tall dark and handsome - a believable carpathian! Also loved the powerful theme tune. This is the best Dark Series trailer so far.

Yes in Dark Destiny it said she was tall. Even though this actress is on the short/medium side she fits the character's sassy sensual nature. But everyone is short compared to Carpathian men. LOL This actor is less exotic than the Manolitho in the book but he does a great job even without the hair.

I really liked this video and thought it was well cast. As for the debate of her hair, it's springy and when combed out, it will reach past her waste but that's how some AA hair is. Great casting.

Actually the book said Maryann has had hair just pat the shoulder but when stretched it reaches her waist. This actress has long hair. If she were to pull her hair it might reach her waist. Curly hair does that. Actually when I read Dark Destiny I had a face similar to this MaryAnn but taller.
