With George Harrison, our loss of him...was Heaven's gain. He was a treasure and a gift to us all on this earth. I wish more people knew that. He was a musician, but so much more..a teacher, a philosopher, a humble student of God's ways, a great father to Dhani, great husband, bandmate, and he didn't tolerate people who thought only of themselves and how important they thought they were like so many celebrities. He concentrtated on the right things in life. I really love this human being.
I think George was always spiritual on many levels, and wrote songs that can really seep into your soul and leave you with everlasting beautiful things to think about, and new things that are very poignant in life. He was a deep thinker, and I loved the fact that he never wanted or needed fame or fortune. He was humble, and knew the reason he was put on this earth, and taught us the best of life's lessons in his lyrics, and music. He was Great in God's eyes and in mine. I miss him so much.

The Beatles Never looked at George as a talented vocalist, or songwriter. Pity, they looked towards him only as a guitarist for basic riffs. THat's why he never had a lot of the songs on the albums. He was only good for harmonies in McCartney and Lennon's eyes. If you look at the Beatles version of All Things Must Pass, you see Paul and John's mic saying things like oh yeah is louder than George's. It really is a shame. Thumbs up if you agree.

He said himself that he hadn't had the practice of doing it that Paul and John had, who had been writing together since they were 15. He explained they had all that time to practice the craft of writing, he hadn't yet. Harrison hadn't really sung before the Beatles.

But as Paul himself admitted, with songs like Something in the way and while my guitar... Harrison really came into his own a song writer. This is further evidenced by the fact that Lennon, upon hearing "Something in the Way," exclaimed it would be the single, the first time Harrison had a song as a Beatles single.

The Beatles Never looked at George as a talented vocalist, or songwriter. Pity, they looked towards him only as a guitarist for basic riffs. THat's why he never had a lot of the songs on the albums. He was only good for harmonies in McCartney and Lennon's eyes. If you look at the Beatles version of All Things Must Pass, you see Paul and John's mic saying things like oh yeah is louder than George's. It really is a shame. Thumbs up if you agree.

He said himself that he hadn't had the practice of doing it that Paul and John had, who had been writing together since they were 15. He explained they had all that time to practice the craft of writing, he hadn't yet. Harrison hadn't really sung before the Beatles.

But as Paul himself admitted, with songs like Something in the way and while my guitar... Harrison really came into his own a song writer. This is further evidenced by the fact that Lennon, upon hearing "Something in the Way," exclaimed it would be the single, the first time Harrison had a song as a Beatles single.

In the song you can hear people singing "Hare Krishna" which is a Hindu mantra. so when you type "lord (god)" it implies he is strictly christian which he is not.
