Elliot was such a unique arranger his cord progs were very different than most. But what I like are the little things in the songs. His string arrangements are unreal. Listen to the cellos in the song Color Bars. Just pure genius. At times I hear a little "Alex Chilton Big Star" influence. But that might just be me.

I agree brother. He was such a tunefull guy, really made you listen to his lyrics. not many artists hve the power to make you cry at a song but he had it in spades. A true great and to me a very uplifting guy always a light at the end of the tunnel in my view.
