I know us hardcore fans prefer CM Punk or Ziggler, but Cena brings in casual fans to watch, something that hasn't been done since Austin AND The Rock left full time. And truth be told, none of today's stars can perform like those in the Attitude Era. Their matches can't tell stories, their promos suck, and many of the superstars can't really wrestle.

At this time, according to almost all the shoots I've seen of guys who worked at that time, the most they got from the writers was an outline. While it's true a lot of the talent need a script today, that is what makes it different. If you couldn't do it without a true script, you didn't work. Going back to that mindset might not be a bad idea. It would make things better, IMO.

Well if WWE goes back to TV-14, how do they benefit from it? They had to then to outperform WCW, but now they have no threat to them. And with the whole Benoit tragedy, it cast a dark cloud over the industry, so the violence has to be toned down nowadays. PG WWE isn't going anywhere. As for undertaker, he doesn't have much left so I doubt he can do a full time schedule or would want to. Cena ain't goin nowhere cause he's WWE's cash cow. Love em or hate him, he brings in millions every year.

They let Taker win every match they had againts eachother and made him just another Pon in the WWF. He has been Great!! some great story lines and rivalrys.. @XManimal when you think about it, after Cena got big in the WWE, it started going down the drain. like a year after Cena won the title, WWE went from TV-14 to TV-PG, and that's when it went downhill. The Attitude Era made the WWE as big as it was in 1997- like 2007 in my opinion.
