  • He's an awesome performer - see him live if you can. Much more subtle than most jazz singers, with an amazing range he doesn't over-promote. The pianist is also excellent, they complement each other perfectly.

Vasandani is such a brilliant, expressive and comfortable vocalist that I can have a LIST of favorite contemporary male jazz singers, instead of just, well, Kurt Elling all by his lonesome. Fantastic! Thanks for posting. Blown away that I may get to study with him someday (like this summer). - Frank T.
