I lived the cortland experience ..but I moved away!!

And Ronnie came from cortland and my mom tells me he was a cool guy. She was also good friends with my mom and if your from cortland you may know her ^_^

Thirty years ago I was a young man in Cortland for a few years and it was a fun place to live. Anyone out there remember when the old abandoned train station was the Third Rail?--- a great bar with bands playing every weekend. I had a lot of good friends there. Most of them, like myself, have long since moved away but I was just up there a week ago for a visit. I turned 30 in Cortland, I'm 61 now, and I miss the good old days. Well, nothing lasts forever.

One of the biggest mistakes they made in Cortland was tearing down the old Cortland Hotel on main St.

I used to live in Homer NY...was born in cortland!  Nice little journey, I liked it.
