Besides, Casablancas is the mastermind behind the Strokes, he does pretty much everything on almost every song, so the other guys have got to be itching to get out their own musical creations. Thats not to say they're not all extremely talented though, because they are. Plus evidently they can hold it down on their own, as evidenced by Nik and Albert Hammond Jr. droppin solos with great music
