I think that's true people have to really hurt before they do things.
When I say revolution my hope is that its peaceful and that people hold those in power to justice, but the longer it takes people to wake up the scary I fear the reaction will be.
in a depression prices of commodities fall. and currency such as dollar, yen, go up. i expect this time in the middle of the depression for gov. to start printing alot. right now they are starting to, but the amount of deflationary pressures on economy will greatly outway their printing./
All things are possible but if you're prepared and own your own stuff, (ie your house, land, food etc) then it doesn't matter what the fiat currencies do or commodities for that matter.
I think we'll see deflation in the short run then rising inflation (even leading to hyperinflation if the central banks keep on printing money)followed by high interest rates to control inflation (just like the 70s)
The volatility is high and the chips are yet to fall either way some people will lose big.
