I'm sorry everybody but Disney World aint the #1 vacation spot in the world and it has never been. The #1 vacation spot in the world is Genting Highland in Malaysia. Reaching over 40 million guests a year. It has been #1 since 1980.

I think Disneyland Deserves all this stuff, i mean im not saying walt Disney world doesnt either. and really.. how does seeing it from a freeway make it bad? O.o really it makes no difference if you can see it from a freeway or not. it shouldn't have to be a competition on which park is better looking.

That's the whole point! Disney World is the most visited destination that Disneyland doesn't get anything. Both parks have to be treated equally. Without Disneyland there would be no Disney World. Plus, Disney already knows that families will come to WDW over DLR so WDW doesn't need to get new things. (I treat both parks equally)

I'm going to Disneyland next year in April I think and I'm pumped. I've been to Walt Disney World and I fell in love with that place and disney all together with all the magic and excitment it brings, its like a 2nd home for me. I hope Disneyland is just as fun and magical.

DL is the first Disney park in the world, it is the only Disney park that Walt Disney has walked and touched. You can also see his apartment/home when he was at Disneyland. It is above the firehouse station in Main Street So, Walt's spirit lies in Disneyland. Land > World

Although Walt died before his dream of finishing Disney World could be completed, it was his goal to make Disney World an even bigger and better park. Walt's brother Roy finished the park for him, and in his honor, named it WALT Disney World so everyone would know it had been his brother's dream.

Walt wanted to make disney world better.Disneyland was surrounded by cheese hotels and such and he wanted to put WDW in a more private place.People cant see WDW from the freeway like they can see disneyland.

WDW's "Main Street" is more of a Mall, and they have 'Monsters Inc.' in Tomorrowland (which makes no sense). They are still running the same parade for 8 years, with only minor changes. The only reason why WDW seems better to most people is that they only visit once.

Think about this: Disneyland was built by a Man for his two daughters, Disney World was built by a corporation for the masses.

Personally, I prefer the one that was built by Walt himself over the one that was built by the company years after Walt's death. They even got Epcot wrong.

Actually, Disneyland has a higher repeat visitor percentage rate due to all the locals. You could also say that Disneyland is smaller because of the locals, and that Disney World is bigger because of the tourists.
