@naaiteels There deleted now, but ya might be able to get one for about £100 of ebay. The new DJx750 is much better , you can get for around £180 on ebay :)
hello im sure u know answer about my mixer b700 the problem is in channel 1 work alot silent than other three i think its problem with mixer i had set it up alot of ways but wont work well as other three, when i want hear something i must turn full gain and vol both...but when i check other channels it work very loud...(sry when i make some mistake but i dont know eng langage very well i think u can know what i mean) mixer is aint new :/
hey.. I just got this mixer.. just wondering.. on the effects side.. the little knob that u turn for the numbers.. how do u know which effect it is going to do? please reply
I've been using this mixer for a few years now and the only thing you can do in regards to the effects is to memorize the # ranges for each type of effect (flanger, reverb, delay, etc). I found the easiest thing to do was to leave the manual out on the table to reference until I had a good idea of where each effect was located in the # list. It's been an okay mixer for the money, but cannot hold a light when compared to the Pioneer DJM of course.
Its one 10th of the price of its counterpart so you expect the quality to be less.
But this reports of them falling apart, I don't no if they have actually owned one or just jumping on the band wagon.
I have had mine at home for over 3 years (have my pioneer at the studio) and never had a problem with it. If you take care of it then it will last, if you abuse it then yes it will brake.
Think most of it is chavs swinging of the buttons and spilling stella into them and then moaning they brake
very true, thanks for your comment, like I said mine is 2 years old and no problems, only problem I get is when I've not used it for a while and the faders get dusty
its a nice mixer but yeah... the volume things are very sensitive compared to other mixers i've tried. Price / quality is very decent for beggining but the Pioneer djm800 is my next step (after selling a lung)
its achualy a fairly good mixer i fined it qwite a jar to controle the mic volume and the bpm readers are pretty poor but over all for the monny (under £100 on ebay) you carnt go rong if your just starting out
I have this mixer but is it a powered mixer meaning i can use the rca master output into a jack in any speaker, because i really need to know so that i know weter to but powered speakers or regular
im used to mix in pioneers, numarks and denon mixers but i had a gig were i use this exact same mixer, i didnt have problems wth the efects or the controls the only thing tht made want to throw the mixer and smash it to the floor was tht i didnt like how the music goes into your headphones i felted wierd the tracks were split even dough i had it on stereo i just heard one track stronger than other one if a changed back to split, it took me time to get my ears adapted when im not use to it
hey , i got a question , are the effects on this mixer beat synchronized .. i mean if am playing a track with 128 bpm , will the effects (like delay ) work correctly ? thanks
I am thinking buy a behringer djx 700, but just to have in home to playing some times, i just want a mixer to conect with virtual dj or traktor, with 4 channels and efects.... like a behringer djx 700
Don't buy this one. I've known two guys who's had this mixer and both of them had really bad problems with the mixer. The quality of the product isn't what it should be.
Buy any other brand than Behringer like Numark or Pioneer.
I have had this mixer for over 3years at home to practice on, which I use every day and its never put a foot wrong. Its good as its very close to the pionner as far as layout goes so I have no problems when switch between them both in the studio/gigs and at home.
I suppose it all depends on how you treat it and what you are expecting for the price. Of course the pionner is built better but it costs over £400 more for a mixer of this function.
i was wondering if anybody could help me.. i am gettin this mixer alogn with two numark axis 4 cd decks for christmas. I wanted to know if and how you can record your music from the mixer or deck on to your pc. If so how do you do this and what do you need
you will need a phono to mini jack cable goin from your booth out to the line in on your sound card and another from your sound card speaker output to a channel input on the mixer

ok, i just bought the Behringer DJX 700 but when im mixing i have the 2 musics playing in one single channel, how do i put the other music in other channel? Thank you
then you must be using it wrong probably have your gains/trim to high and have blown the channel, I've had this mixer nearly 2 years on and its still as good as the day i bought it
alright fella, wondering if you could help me? baaasically, ive only been djing a year or so and have been learning with a pair of cheap rubishy gemini cdjs and a numark dxm06. basically, these seem better than my numark, but are cheaper, and i was thinking i should just flog my dxm06 for one of these, but would it be a smart move? hope you can help! cheers, Aj
no, keep saving up until u can get a pioneer djm 400, atleast if u ever want to upgrade from ur next mixer, ur pioneer will have excellent resale value, the behringer will no resale value
i bought this mixer yesterday and am having a difficulty with listening to one channel CLEAR on its own. and therefore finidng it hard to cue my the song etc because i can mostly hear the other channel playing
is there a switch/control that i am not using propably?
i am using the bottom left MIX dial which i am hearing both channels play at once
this was my first mixer, got it off ebay 4 cheap & it was great! but once u start getting a bit more serious u'd want something a bit more substantial, the effects i was always dissapointed with however and don't get me started on the bpm. I've got a korg ks 402 mixer now, check it out, there crazy. But this is still great mixer for the price
mIRA YO LO TENGO CON CDJ 400 Y VA BIEN PERO LAMENTABLEMENTE MIS CDJ MERECEN ALGO MEJOR, PERO VIVO EN ARGENTINA Y LOS PRECIOS SON IMPAGABLES, POR AHORA SALIÓ BUENO, LO TENGO HACE 7 MESES Y SIN PROBLEMAS, LOS EFECTOS MUY BUENOS Y EL DELAY CON UN MIC ES BUENO, IGUAL AHORA ME COMPRE KP3, ASI Q DALE PARA ADELANTE POR LO QUE VALE ES MUY BUENO, SI BUSCAS CALIDAD DJM 800 (PIONNER, EL Q USA TIESTO, O ALLEN EL Q USA PAUL VAN DYK), TAMBIÉN TENES FX 5000 DE NUMARK CON SAMPLERS DE 5 CH, KEEP ON DJING!!!!
This mixer is a great beginners mixer! It is worth the 125.00 I paid on ebay just for the BPM counter alone. The effects on my unit have never worked right. I can only apply EFX to all playing channels at once instead of just one channel. When I do one channel, you can still hear the track playing even though it has been faded out. ALSO, the main volume has always had a crackle and pop sound when adjusting it. Plus the EQ cut offs aren't great either.
No comparison there m8, i bought this mixer because it's literally a copy of the pioneer djm 700, but it just looks like it, the performance is nothing on the behringer compared to the pio. The behringer's still great for the price though, but the pioneers are really worth dishing out for. There's really no comparison.
hi iam really into rock music and play the guitar and i really like makeing my own msuic in my band but resently iv been really getting into makeing tracks on the computer i us Fruityloops 3 and Audacity would you say this mixer is good for a begginner dj?
hay hows it going, i was thinking of getting one because iv been offerd it for quite cheap abd eveb if the fx arnt as good as pioner at this price it whould be rude not to i just had one question that row of leds above the cross fader im asuming they are fader position indicator couldebt tell though if you could let me know thats appreciated that.
what do you like or dis-like about your djx700??? if i get it will it break easy??? i will only be using it for bedroom mixing........ have you had any problems with your djx700??? plz plz plz reply to me plz.... thanks.....
i just bought a mg82cx, this is my first mixer but i am unsure on how to use it. i want to use it especially for my keyboard, is that possible, if so how?
yeah im just a little confused. I just got my djx 700. and when im trying to match one beat to another, im a little confused on how the headphones part works. are both songs always going to be coming through the headphones?
Yo dude i have the behringer djx 700 but with mine my effects are playing up when i try to use them the sound is very distorted and they are not working propley do you have any idea why???
the split/stereo switch for the headphones is used for mixing so if you put it on split you have the live track in one ear and the track you want to mix in in the other ear if you set it to stereo you will hear both tracks in both ears in a blur! the split is easier to mix with as you can hear when you got the two tracks beatmixed when the bass sounds like its in the middle of your headphones (give it a try and you'll see what i mean) if you got any questions just reply to my messages!
the "volume control on the mic is actually not a volume but its how much the music is turned down in db when you speak into the mic! so if its set at low it will turn/fade down the music like 4db (just an example i dont know hoe much) and if you set it to max it will turn/fade down the music 32db the real volume control for the mic is the trim button on top of the mic section on it!
Yo dude i have the behringer djx 700 but with mine my effects are playing up when i try to use them the sound is very distorted and they are not working propley do you have any idea why???
not 100% sure what you mean but if your talkin about a click in the centre of the cross-fader then no it doesnt, it does have a crossfader curve adjsutment though, hope that helps
im new to this dj thing. but while i was shopping around, i cam across the numark total control package. it said that if you have a pair of headphones you can preview a track that ur mixing b4 u actually play it aloud.
but i just ordered this mixer with the numark icdx and i was wondering if i can do the same, thnx in advanced bro
ah right i see, yeah its the case with all mixers and why headphones are used, while one track is playin out you preview or cue the next track in your headphones so the track is beatmatched etc, all mixers have this function
i have the same mixer i like it very much... and for the xpq sourround fx you need a sourround amplifier i have one works pretty cool you can change the volume/intensity of the yourround speakers... very cool mixer but forget the bpm counter it doesnt work.... learn mixing with your ears not widi eyes:D or can you see music (without using drugs) hehehehe blessings to all djs and music lovers...
Yes you should use youre ears for mixing but the beat counter on this mixer actually does work, although kind of shitty it still does work, you have to keep pressing the button on the right (i forgot what its called lol) but the small button on the right under the screen, keep pressing it every time you hear a beat, it will give you an accurate reading.
Yeah with the black tape is a good idea...i think all of the Mixers or CDJ's give u a wrong BPM (most of the time) like the Denon DN-S3500 or CDJ-1000 ... like d mixer even though the effects dont work as much as d once of Pioneer or Denon! Cool tutorial!
thanks heaps for this video. im still a learning dj so i think this will be a good mixer to improve my skills on. as an upgrade to this i was looking at the pioneer djm800. is there any other mixers you would recommend??
I would defanitely recommend pioneer, this Behringer will do the job it is a good mixer its just old, and Pioneer makes the best now, and the Djm 800 is an outstanding mixer.
hey.. just a question...why when you are using effects in channel one and you want to change quickly to channel two tracks... channel one keeps playing with effects in the background eventhough the crossfader is all the way on channel 2? is this normal?
there is nothing wrong with the mixer, whichever channel you assign the effects to thats the only one that will have it, and you also have to remember to take the level of affects down since those will be amplified through the main channel also.
please flip the video around so that it is facing your viewers. it's a bit distracting to have to look at it upside down. especially when you say left and it's on the viewer's right.
I need a lil help - when one song is playing out of the 'Master' Output(rear end), what should I do to get the 2nd song ready in the other player? The 'Phones' output in the front (where I've connected the Headphone) is playing the song on Deck A .. as well as the one I'm getting ready with on Deck B. How do I cancel Deck B in the Master - and bring it in when its ready to fade after the 1st song?
you'll have to buy them seperately, there pretty cheap to buy aswell, you'll need a 3.5mm Stereo Jack to 2 Phono Jack wire, roughtly around £10 or less in the UK
i got his mixer but i cant figure out how to here the other channels wen 1 channel is on .. so i reallyave 2 guess my music atm .. can u tell me how to use it .. it would help me a lot ..
I want to tell my humil opinion about this mixer. I have it from more than 1 year. It's not a bad mixer, i'm still using but only few efx are useful, kill freq buttons kills more freq than knobs. Auto-bpm function doesn't work in accurately way.. XPQ EQ gives a sound more open, kewl not with every songs. All the connectors are rca, no xlr for active speakers (u have to buy adapters). Sliders are exponential, not linear. Conclusions: it's a good mixer for begineers
I have an ask,I used a djx-700,and my friend told me that the bmp in the mixer can´t be trusted, that is not good like the bpm count of the cdj 200,is truth?
wouldnt say its amazing, but its good enough for the price, especially if your on a budget like me, a pioneer is alittle out of my reach at the mo, especially just for it to sit in my bedroom anyway
"47 breathtaking effects" yeah i sold mine after a week.

Plus the EQ cut offs aren't great either.

does this mixer have a pretty solid feel? Any channel leaking? Why don't you like the effects, do they sound really bad? Has anything broken?

How would you compare this mixer to the higher level Pioneer DJM series? Thanks
djcompose 3 years ago
No comparison there m8, i bought this mixer because it's literally a copy of the pioneer djm 700, but it just looks like it, the performance is nothing on the behringer compared to the pio. The behringer's still great for the price though, but the pioneers are really worth dishing out for. There's really no comparison.

i'm not quite sure why you would need a mixer for making music to be honest, producing and djing are two totally different things

i just bought a mg82cx, this is my first mixer but i am unsure on how to use it. i want to use it especially for my keyboard, is that possible, if so how?
mikejrboy2005 3 years ago
an mg82cx is more of a recording desk the mixer so you should be able to use it with a keyboard with the right connectors
craigk2000 3 years ago
how do you send 1 channel through the send/return???
JackDooner 3 years ago
Can you demo the effects and what the cue buttons do. Thanks!

yeah im just a little confused. I just got my djx 700. and when im trying to match one beat to another, im a little confused on how the headphones part works. are both songs always going to be coming through the headphones?
Noobtron3000 3 years ago
use the "split" option. current play is on your left ear, cue is in your right.

Yo dude i have the behringer djx 700 but with mine my effects are playing up when i try to use them the sound is very distorted and they are not working propley do you have any idea why???
Zula59 4 years ago
the split/stereo switch for the headphones is used for mixing so if you put it on split you have the live track in one ear and the track you want to mix in in the other ear if you set it to stereo you will hear both tracks in both ears in a blur! the split is easier to mix with as you can hear when you got the two tracks beatmixed when the bass sounds like its in the middle of your headphones (give it a try and you'll see what i mean) if you got any questions just reply to my messages!
Blayros 4 years ago
the "volume control on the mic is actually not a volume but its how much the music is turned down in db when you speak into the mic! so if its set at low it will turn/fade down the music like 4db (just an example i dont know hoe much) and if you set it to max it will turn/fade down the music 32db the real volume control for the mic is the trim button on top of the mic section on it!

is that mixer got a stop on the cross fader
is the cross fader a hip hop cross faadrer so that u can scratch???????? plzz naswer thnx
staffs4life 4 years ago
not 100% sure what you mean but if your talkin about a click in the centre of the cross-fader then no it doesnt, it does have a crossfader curve adjsutment though, hope that helps
craigk2000 4 years ago
im new to this dj thing. but while i was shopping around, i cam across the numark total control package. it said that if you have a pair of headphones you can preview a track that ur mixing b4 u actually play it aloud.
but i just ordered this mixer with the numark icdx and i was wondering if i can do the same, thnx in advanced bro
Booby7abooby 4 years ago
ah right i see, yeah its the case with all mixers and why headphones are used, while one track is playin out you preview or cue the next track in your headphones so the track is beatmatched etc, all mixers have this function
craigk2000 4 years ago
ok great! thnx again for ur reply and this video was very informative! keep up the great work bro

i have the same mixer i like it very much... and for the xpq sourround fx you need a sourround amplifier i have one works pretty cool you can change the volume/intensity of the yourround speakers... very cool mixer but forget the bpm counter it doesnt work.... learn mixing with your ears not widi eyes:D or can you see music (without using drugs) hehehehe blessings to all djs and music lovers...
singjayphilharmony 4 years ago
i agree about the bpm counter, i've put black tape over mine
craigk2000 4 years ago
Yes you should use youre ears for mixing but the beat counter on this mixer actually does work, although kind of shitty it still does work, you have to keep pressing the button on the right (i forgot what its called lol) but the small button on the right under the screen, keep pressing it every time you hear a beat, it will give you an accurate reading.
DudasMiska 4 years ago
Yeah with the black tape is a good idea...i think all of the Mixers or CDJ's give u a wrong BPM (most of the time) like the Denon DN-S3500 or CDJ-1000 ... like d mixer even though the effects dont work as much as d once of Pioneer or Denon! Cool tutorial!

would you do another video showing how the sampling works
thanks m8

DudasMiska 4 years ago
thanks heaps for this video. im still a learning dj so i think this will be a good mixer to improve my skills on. as an upgrade to this i was looking at the pioneer djm800. is there any other mixers you would recommend??
djgarygee 4 years ago
I would defanitely recommend pioneer, this Behringer will do the job it is a good mixer its just old, and Pioneer makes the best now, and the Djm 800 is an outstanding mixer.

hey.. just a question...why when you are using effects in channel one and you want to change quickly to channel two tracks... channel one keeps playing with effects in the background eventhough the crossfader is all the way on channel 2? is this normal?
djdelgadon 4 years ago
yeah i've noticed that, bit of a pain, might be a copyright issue or just a problem with all the mixers
craigk2000 4 years ago
there is nothing wrong with the mixer, whichever channel you assign the effects to thats the only one that will have it, and you also have to remember to take the level of affects down since those will be amplified through the main channel also.
DudasMiska 4 years ago
please flip the video around so that it is facing your viewers. it's a bit distracting to have to look at it upside down. especially when you say left and it's on the viewer's right.
friktionn 4 years ago
hi craig! thaks for the response!
How do I cancel Deck B in the Master - and bring it in when its ready to fade after the 1st song?
foreveranuj 4 years ago
Does this mixer come with the cables needed to connect to a PC for Audio Recording? Or do I have to buy it separately?
foreveranuj 4 years ago
you'll have to buy them seperately, there pretty cheap to buy aswell, you'll need a 3.5mm Stereo Jack to 2 Phono Jack wire, roughtly around £10 or less in the UK
craigk2000 4 years ago
I really dont know if i enjoy or deslike my DJX 700!
LOL...
Sometimes i think its cool
sometimes i think its cheap...
But its a good mixer to start with!

gigiluke 4 years ago
you need to use the cue buttons above the volume faders, press the button according to which input you are cuing, if that makes sense
craigk2000 4 years ago
I want to tell my humil opinion about this mixer. I have it from more than 1 year. It's not a bad mixer, i'm still using but only few efx are useful, kill freq buttons kills more freq than knobs. Auto-bpm function doesn't work in accurately way.. XPQ EQ gives a sound more open, kewl not with every songs. All the connectors are rca, no xlr for active speakers (u have to buy adapters). Sliders are exponential, not linear. Conclusions: it's a good mixer for begineers
djkaditaly 4 years ago
i'll agree to that, no sure about for begineers could be a bit intimidating but defo good for bedroom use than the club
craigk2000 4 years ago
I have an ask,I used a djx-700,and my friend told me that the bmp in the mixer can´t be trusted, that is not good like the bpm count of the cdj 200,is truth?
daviduse 4 years ago
ive been djin fer about 8 months would you recomend this mixer as good enough for just house parties??
good vid thanks
xrobbyboix 4 years ago
yeah defo, i dont think it would last very long in a club but for house parties and bedrooms definatley
craigk2000 4 years ago

You Think its amazing it is Good But Some Effects Are Dull But There Are many good Ones But Overall For the price And Stuff Its a Good Mixer
elitepeacey 4 years ago
wouldnt say its amazing, but its good enough for the price, especially if your on a budget like me, a pioneer is alittle out of my reach at the mo, especially just for it to sit in my bedroom anyway
