Can someone tell me why I get gas EVERYTIME I eat fresh leafy greens?? And how I can stop it?? I'm trying to eat better but I try not to eat them when I'm at work bc it's embarrassing. I spend 90% of my day at work and school. So that is limiting my green intake. Any suggestions? I have been told that my body has to get use to it but it should be by now.

How do you get the amount of proteins into your body if you don't eat any kind of meat or eggs? and how dou you get calcium into your system without drinking milk, eating chees?

There is a huge misconception, largely fueled by clever marketing, that animal protein is the only true/good source of iron, calcium, vitamins, minerals and proteins.
This is false. Whole vegan foods in their ripe and unadultered state offer us almost everything we need, including calcium and protein.

Raw Food, Vegan Food, Whole Foods, these are terms you will want to look up and do your own research.

It's just living in a fast paced society we want fast and sometimes we need fast, and we forget to put everything in perspective and then put that perspective into practice especially when all our senses are bombarded with all kinds of clever marketing. There is plenty of protein and calcium in dark leafy green vegetables. The protein myth has been perpetuated by the dairy and meat industry to sell more of their product, that being dead animals.
You can get protein from broccoli, greens, spirulina, beans...there's protein in everything natural. Ask yourself how cows, gorillas, elephants, giraffes get their protein and calcium?
(which has so many factors to be present in order for it to work) are necessary to achieve Alkaline use. Plus you must never put dead flesh into your body, EVER. Why dosen't the good Dr. know this, or is he only parroting what the US Gov. stole from th man who cured AIDS and Cancer, Dr. Sebi.

This is quite interesting, More so, since Caucasians cannot hold not process Alkaline nor Iron, They actually only process Iron by taking a systhetic mineral (a fake mineral, which is acidic). The real reason is Melanin and ample stimulation via sunlight

good back up to Dr youngs work....i am starting a movement called Alkaline Athletes to push PH as the major factor in postworkout recovery times...with lactic acid formation and most recovery diets focused on animal proteins, people are causing more inflammation in the muscles. my hypothesis is that alkaline diets will cut recovery times and lead to faster, more oxygenated blood flow. do you have any research on this area that might be useful? great work thanks.
