at first I thought WTF, now I have finally heard a version of my favorite song that I don't like!!

But this version grew on me and I like it.

8-bit means there is a certain amount of technical limitations involved with making the music. It stems from old video game consoles not being able to play any other kind of music.

Then again, you're a game developer so I guess you already knew that.
