  • that was fun

  • I read Keith did all the guitar (including bass) on this song.

  • "I don't care about the Claptons or jimmy Pages, or Jeff Becks, when it comes down to it, they can't keep that rythym - down- Ba-by !!!!!! Keef Richards

  • Do you remember that the first release of this album had to be recalled because they used images of celebrities with out their permission. I have the original and the second release where the images are blank. Wonder if that's worth any money, ha ha.

  • Is Keef singing the lead?

  • @IrishMetalCop

    Yes sah.

  • This sounds great. Do you have exile? I'd love to hear Rocks Off, Tumbling Dice, Happy, and All Down the Line on this player. Sounds really good. Let me know if you can make that happen.

  • Now that's rock 'n' roll, BITCHES!!!

  • best stones album!

  • The 8-track-tape version of SOME GIRLS has two versions of this song, one with different lyrics.

  • This is exactly how I listened to it when this album came out, I'd stack 5 or 6 Stones albums and let the machine do its thing

  • vinyl and analogue is easier on the ear than digital, compressed files. I have found that you often get more clarity in the mix on vinyl too.

  • this is real rock and roll. fuck all this new crap.

  • @steve272723 fuck yeah.

  • Crazy how good it sounds.

  • I wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling really good

  • Yay vinyl. Yay turntables. Yay the Rolling Stones. Yay Keith. Fuck everything else.

  • My favorite Stones song...

  • It sound good but it is heavily dynamic compressed, unfortunately.

Maybe the audio software did it? Compression is terrible.

  • Do all the people saying how this sounds warmer on vinyl realise they're listening to a digital copy on YouTube?

  • @purplegrant hmmm.... is that true?

  • @titostacos Yes. This is on a hard drive on a server somewhere. Youtube aren't whipping out the vinyl and popping it on a turntable it every time you click play.

  • @purplegrant LoL was wondering the same thing

  • Vinyl produces the greatest sounds

  • everybody says "Vinyl sounds so good", I miss vinyl" or "vinyl sounds way better than digital" If that's so (which I believe anyway), then stop yer yapping and go buy a used turntable (NOT a new piece of cheap plastic) and get out your records! So what if you can't bring them with you in your car or on your ipod, they weren't made for that!

Back in the good radio days, vinyl was THE source. So you just needed to listen to FM radio. F*&$? this sounds so good!

  • One of the Best pop/rock songs of All Time.

    -The KingCaster.

  • Will the {IDIOT} who voted 'thumbs down' for NOT liking this song, please stand in front of the firing-squad wall. The firing squad is waiting for you!!

    UGH!!!

  • Vinyl sucked a dick. Most of you little shits singing its praises never had to constantly replace copies of 'Dark Side of the Moon.'

  • Love the way it cuts just as 'Beast of Burden' starts!! Quality tune and quality deck mate, nice one

  • get out of the party before they make you run

  • awsome sound vinyl makes the difference. thanks

  • wasn't lookin too good but i was feelin real well

  • Nobody sounds like Keith Richard's, That's a good thing!

  • great song

  • and its running slow...see the strobe moving backwards..slightly flat

  • Which turntable is this?

Sounds great and great song by the way. =)

  • It's a Dual 604

  • @vinylWindsor Dual makesgreat turntzbles! Had one in the eighties m'self~

  • Vinyl definitely gives a warmer and bigger sound. I still remember all the great vinyl listening experiences and can compare them in my memory to the thin CD sound I hear today. This track is a great example of that.

It helps that the Stones have such a great guitar sound going on this one.

  • @fanniterrette In effect ,you're listening to digitised sound here too. Although during the 8T's & 9T's vinyl was better in the audio stakes , these days CD's sound just as well ,and most times even better. It's ofcourse of major importance to have two big woofers, and if possible, an equaliser, to fine tune the lower frequencies, and get rid of the sometimes shrill middle tones. Still got all my vinyl, but seldom play them. Make sure for a decent sound card in your PC too.

  • @PAULLONDEN Not realy give a shit.....back then , I was drinkin with keith....understood the lyric very well...no need for high fidelity........ got the point

  • after this song is my fav--beast of burden. i love that song, along with emotional rescue most of the songs on the rewind.

  • 'fore they make me run' (last lyric, the "be" is faded or missing)

  • I miss vinyl. Warmer bass tones.

  • @Exilemainstreet Not just the bass tones but Charlie Watts' drum riffs are that much more pronounced than on CD.

  • @Tubernaut It's all about the bass line. Sounds like a Rickenbacher.

  • @KingCast65 Bill Wyman is one my favorite bassists.

  • @Tubernaut He's my favorite bassist as well miss em in the Stones!!!

  • @KingCast65 No argument here. Bill Wyman is one my favorite bassists.

  • great song ... btw the album came out in 1978
