I dont like to be contrary but Paul's thorn was clearly persecution. He mentions all his troubles but not once does he mention sickness. The gospel is a yea and amen gospel. God clearly promises healing and persecution. If Paul's thorn was sickness, and not persecution, God's Word cannot be trusted and it makes God a liar. See Psalm 103.
@SpiritFilledJohn If that was so, how is it that Paul prayed for the removal of "Persecution" when He knows very well from the Word of God that Christians WILL be persecuted. He even wrote to Timothy the same thing 2Ti 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
Praise Jesus for this message! "Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." How liberating! Nothing in my hands I bring, simply to thy cross I cling. God's strength is made perfect in weakness! HalleluYah!
Wonderful, edifying sermon. I pray the truth and the love of this truth shared here will abide in me and in all who hear. Amen.

Correction: I meant to say total DEPENDENCE. Praise God for this word!

This is a word from the Lord. Total dependents on God prevents self righteousness and pride. Praise God! I thank Him for your life!
