  • Had one just like this...tucked in behind a bus one day and saw 53mph....I went everywhere on that old bike. Sold it, bought an XL100s...then got a 250N super dream, then a RD250E. 32 years on, riding a Shovelhead...will always be thankful for those great riding days in the late 70's early 80's...it was magic!

  • i had one too, so slow tryed a mates fizi loved that but the honda was cheaper to run 100mls+.

    on £20 a week that counted.

  • The SS50 was my first bike back in 1980.I too rebuilt it~my first love!Seeing your pics really took me back.Ah to be 16 again.Well done for keeping a classic on the road.
