  • good effort..unbelievable body, great strength, but you are using too much weight..if you can't do 20 reps easily you've got too much weight, my dad used to say (bench press 170k RAW!)

  • I think her form is good enough, there's not THAT much swing, she's not going to paralyse herself from it, but she does swing a bit more at the end, that's normal though to cheat a bit on your last couple of reps to get a couple more out.

    She's a lady though, she doesn't need to train with completely perfect form, this is good enough, she's not aiming to be mr.olympia, she has more experience than most of you i bet.

  • lol i agree with innate whisper.... your form is poor. sure ur body looks great but that doesn't mean a thing. you could easily injure urself with that form. you're bobbing back and forth. Clearly this is wayyyy too much weight for u.

  • Too much swing, too much weight. You're working far more traps, levators, lats, and lower back and hardly any biceps. You need to use less weight and keep your shoulders and elbows completely still and level. You're setting yourself up for injury by doing curls like that.

  • @InnateWhisper Shut your mouth douche bag, you're just another folk playing the same goddamn tape, she is in good shape, for a woman she is superfit, i also lift weights and i do a lot of cheat reps and guess what? I never got injured and my strict curl strenght increased dramatically, your conventionnal training methods are only good for size gains but all this will get you nowhere in terms of true relative strenght.

  • @Truejusticevoice What good is building strength if your use of too much weight is causing constant microtraumas and microtears within the tendons/ligaments as well as putting too much pressure on the WRONG muscle groups? People like you may feel good and look good now, but when you get into your 50's or 60's and your back and your joints are shot you'll wish you'd been less of a "douche bag" at the gym.

  • There is nothing wrong with her form. These are heavy barbell curls, not concentration curls. My only advice to her would be start squatting more, you need to bring your legs up.

  • Clearly at 58kg and 9% bodyfat year round, I have no idea what I'm doing, only been training for 15 years, amazingly have never suffered a single injury, least of all a back injury, armchair athletes should stick to playing with their remotes, have a look at Arnold's encyclopedia of modern bodybuilding and doing barbell curls, now that's bad form, I wish people would stop trying to adhere to Joe Weider's antiquated training suggestions, get in the gym and lift some weight!!!

  • yes i agree with this comment...........does anybody here think that slow controlled movements are the best? sometimes explosive movements are necessary....hence the olympic chsmpions in the clean and jerk, and some powerlifters doing explosive movements with lighter weight than their max.......sometimes even arnold would use "bad" form to pump his bicep up.....put a couple of plates and "pump" it.

  • if your muscle is fatigued and you want to blow it up with blood more, this so called bad form is just a way to overcome the sticking point of the weight, while not stagnating at a lighter weight with so called perfect form........in other words, she is training to failure, and the lactic acid build up after a couple sets does not let a human being do "perfect" reps one after another were not industrial strength machines after all........its a training technique, and it works a hell lot too.
