Nothing happened to him. If I'm not mistaken, he's currently "on work" preparing Hardware II: Ground Zero and also a video for Fields of the Nephilim (well, Carl McCoy coz there're no fields now). Anyway it's only more of the same - there're just material problems, if he has money and people, he would do it all in a pair of months, for sure.
