Whoever posted these subtitles really dumbed down a master work. I should be glad that Moliere is now accessible to English-speaking 5th grade children but the rest of us should feel our intelligences have been insulted.

Don't you be fooled guys: the subtitles are only simplified paraphrase. Molière's poetic skills are at least equals to that of Shakespeare.

It is so difficult to see Moliere in English (things are even worse with Corneille). This is pure gold.
