@GRAVEYARDSK8 zerg doesn't have vision on all of its creep. The hatchery spreads creep further than it can see, while a creep tumor spreads exactly as far as it can see. Usually a building or an overlord will see for the full distance of the creep, but early game this isn't always possible.
