I do not disagree that Todd had very deep feelings for Tea, even love and she will always have a piece of his heart, but the more I watch these scenes there is no denying that Blair had a bigger share of that heart
Tea telling him he can do anything he puts his mind to is one reason why I love TNT she always tried to make him realize his potential, embrace it and become the whole man she knew that he was capable of being. Through all the crazy that was love.
@twbaldwi i'm a T&Ber but i fully agree with you about tea's effect of todd. problem is todd was never good for HER. also, todd never changed because someone asked him to; it was always when he was inspired to change... and that was with blair.
@katjamendez Todd tried so hard for Tea he really did. During their story when he fell for her and they married for real. By the time Todd got to Tea he didn't think he deserved the type of honest love that she gave to him, but he knew it was special and didn't want to lose it. I disagree that Todd was always inspired to change with Blair because of how their relationships ALWAYS ended. The moment Blair told her first lie to Todd the dynamic in that union was forever changed imho.
@twbaldwi I definitely agree with you. I can never forget how TNB blew up the first time. It could have been great especially with them being the outcasts but Blair killed that for me when money meant more to her than being true to Todd.
@amerihaitian I absolutely agree it's sad how she played an unsuspecting Todd for a sucker. When T&B had their beach wedding he thought she was pregnant. Afterwards during their honeymoon it's sad, because Todd doesn't have anything and is none the wiser of his inheritance. Blair has sex with him then wants to leave him behind to go back to Llanview and scheme. Todd was the one worrying about being their for her and the baby and a place for them to live Todd didn't deserve that back then.
@twbaldwi Yes and many of her actions regarding her true love since his return has been baffling as well. Like continuing to cozy up to Tomas after finding out he sent Todd to his 8 yr fate. She has been more understanding to Tomas than to Todd. Ugh like at the court, she had no sympathy for Todd until he brought up for the billionth time how he was tortured for 8 yrs. I'll tolerate another implosion b/c the heart of the murder s/l is b/t TNT.
@amerihaitian You are so right, Blair was this way even back in the day!!! During the Georgie Phillips hostage, she didn't say anything when Max tried to bust his head with a boat paddle, didn't bat an eyelash when Kevin took him to the woods with a gun to his head. Todd had to promise her everything his business, his assets, custody of Starr everything for her to help him escape. Everything was a bargain a negotiation with Blair it always had to be something in it for her always.
@amerihaitian Also notice how hurt Blair is once she finds out that Max was just using her to get a pay out from Asa to find out information, she loved her some Max Holden. When Todd ducks and knocks Max out Blair immediately runs over to Max, telling Todd "don't you hurt him." Todd even calls her out and says "how come you didn't scream out for me Blair can you feel the love in the room now," while she is kneeled down beside Max. I laugh and shake my head at the supposed undying true love.
@twbaldwi How some block out who started all it all. So quick to say they do it to one another but he didn't do anything at the beginning and he wanted to have something normal and grow with her but she's the one that set in motion his mistrust for her that he has till this day. Her deceit and his past plays a major role in his behaviors towards people around him. He is ultimately responsible for his actions but what she did to him played a role in how he responded to people who cared about him.
@amerihaitian That's exactly what I say!! Blair started all of the deception and lies he was none the wiser, but he later started to play her game and went into his relationship with Tea after it started to become real thinking that she was going to be the same way playing the same kind of games that's why he told her that he wasn't going through "all of that crap I went through with Blair," because she scorched him. Todd didn't have many experiences with love, so he lead by example.
@twbaldwi I think that to some TNB fans Tea will always be the other woman that meant nothing to Todd and is nothing but a whiney whatever but to a true RH Todd fan they know that he loved both women, not just Blair. A true Rh Todd fan knows that the stories with both women are a major part of the character Todd and he loves both. Even now with him wanting Blair, his scenes with Tea are definitely not restricted to law and Danny.
@amerihaitian Exactly, I couldn't agree more with you as a Todd fan first for me its about who would run in front of a train for him being in love with him through it all even the ugly and still if he had nothing to his name would be there with just him in love and still happy not worrying about "scheming to get it all back," but just being content with him loving them and her loving him that's Tea she gave him his greatest gift true/honest love and Blair gave him his greatest love Starr.
@katjamendez LOL, Blair inspired Todd to change, is that a joke? she was his poison. She was the one who brought out all the paranoia, distrust, anger, and borderline possessiveness in him after she told her first lie and her second lie when she flat out told him to his face that she was faithful to him when he had died.
I had no problem with Blair getting it on with Patrick, but she did it to piss off Marty and lied to Todd about it when he asked. She was the source of his hurt always.

@twbaldwi Yes!!! And the example that lead him was that love lies, love hurts and sex is used to manipulate someone.
