  • Marcus Aurelius and Sun Tzu. Easily the #1 And #2 philosophers I would force my children to read.

  • this man was brilliant and honorable.. its a damn shame his son commodus turned out to be less worthy.

  • I think there is a Greek saying that went something like "Imagine if all sons sought to surpass their fathers."

  • commodus was a punk bitch

  • @LittleMegha

why? do you know something about him? or have you seen the Gladiator movie?

  • @taleton man I can't believe I even left a comment like that. All I know about Commodus comes from the movie Gladiator, where he was kind of a "punk bitch." But I may have been a few beers down when I made that crass statement. My Youtube comments are usually well informed: I graduated summa cum laude in philosophy at university, after all. Can you shed any light on Commodus?

  • @xVin89x Why? Nature deemed it so...

  • Wisdom never gets old.

  • nature is delighted when you follow your oun true nature in another way your nature core being is delighted when you follow your oun true nature of course being and obeying, tempered by the laws of man and nations ......the law of the land.... you must set aside daily dwelings -in on your mind to truly be open to excepting learning into and held there in your mind.

  • They didn't post my favorite Marcus quote, which is"Loss is change, and change is the delight of Nature." Or something like that.
