I am NOT evaluating the facts of the case from the point of view of Amanda being America, except how her actions are MISUNDERSTOOD by an Italian jury filled with Berlusconi voting morons. There has been tons of ink spilled regarding the complexity of this case. But for YOU it is "cut and dried". Who is the one doing the dismissing. My burden, evidentially and ethically, is not to demonstrate in no uncertain terms their innocence -- that burden is only YOURS if you wish to declare their guilt. Right from the beginning Amanda involved a bar owner who had nothing to do with the murder. She could have sent this guy to jail for decades and would not have given a shit about it. Why should somebody care about her now? Her declarations where very inconsistent and that is weird, don't you think?. Later she said she has smoken marihuana and do not remember exactly what happend. Sure, just give the fault to marihuana and be free. This strategy just does not work.
