Both voices have their own charm, I prefer this one because he sound like a psychotic nerd, which is basically what he is. He became obsessed after seeing Lady Valkyrie and thus he does everything to get her. His voice in Silmeria makes him sound like a badass but not like a man who has lost his wits.

Funny how during Valk's vision sequence; you can actually hear voice clips of dialog and then when the dialog happens; there is no voice clip to match it. Lorenta's husband for instance has a voice sample; but we don't hear it during the actual event. Weird.
