@dooooodeses usually if all the light is on and the screen brightness is 60% u can get 3 hours for the normal use and u can get 3 h and 30 m with lights off but i didnt try full battery on games. but usually u will not get smooth FPS on the battery mode
@MrShankapotomos sorry i didnt get ur point do u mean the do u mean the desktop background?! if u mean that so right cleck on the desktop and choose personalize and then in the bottom of the screen u will find desktop background click on it and u will find all the alienware backgrounds
So the alien head in the back can't be changed?Thats still good default color. hey does the AC brick cable come with that led light? I've heard it was taken out in the 18x? How is the screen? they say that it has as much contrast as the 17x R2 but that it lacks lighting its not as bright? Do you take it to school/work? or is it unbearably heavy? thanks in advance.
@rpg1201 yeh the alien head is always white color.the AC cable came to me with it. before i receive it i was watching all the m18x review on youtube and its all shows the big AC adapter but mine came with the small one .
the screen is good for me i didnt have the m17x r2 before so i cant compare but i'm satisfied with it
about the weight .. i take it with me every day to my work and i'm using it in heavy duty work rendering and 3d modelling but the performance is perfect
@bikaso20022002 Thanks for the reply, oh I think I get it, maybe you only get the huge power brick if you get like the dual video cards and the most power consuming processor, that sucks cause I love that power brick!
