Been there...twice... "dumb" isn't quite the word, really. Everybody's so desperate to have fun, though, and there's so much knucklehead yahoo behaviour, it gets tiring. If you're a sensation type, or somebody who makes a point of staying high and insisting everybody has the same kind of knucklehead fun you have, you'll love it. Glad it's going through its over-hyped, over-popular stage; maybe it'll morph into something creative again.
Oh yeah... Burning Man isn't dumb, jerkwad. It's the best damn festival in the world! You gotta be there to actually have fun. Burning Man is a creative arts festival. So don't say its stupid or dumb unless you've been to it!
