yep, its totally crazy: first the religious afghan freedom fighters are heroes for killing poor russions, now they are suckers for killing other people. crazy. And all the arguments in Rambo III against the USSR invading Afghanistan hold for the US invasion of Irak: they thought it will be over soon and that technology can beat (although crazy militarist) the inhabitants.
