Well, isn't this an awkward situation. So an MSNBC political analyst brings his show on-site to give the movement direct airtime while interviewing labor union leaders who give logistical and legal support to the movement. During the majority of the show, he is being heckled by one guy saying, "We don't support you!" (don't even know where to start on that context error.) Meanwhile at Fox News, the media are blowing the whole thing off.
Just stay true, and take all the help you can get.
fat head ed is a douche, the problem is not capitalism but the system of debt thats the problem. between taxes and interest, its sucking the life out of the people. End The Fed!!!!! remember when it was normal to buy a home that was twice your income for a year? now with the average income of 30-35 grand, and home prices 150-250 grand on average, who can buy one? ten year home notes were common 30 yrs ago. now 30 yrs are the norm.
i can't get a union job. i am not in a union. unions tend to divide and conquer. oh shit. we're fucked. there will be too many opposing opinions for this to work. Too many entities trying to make a buck off it. Capitalism will throw a wrench in the gears somehow.
I understand why people may not like Ed Schultz, but isn't it irrelevant what his motivation for broadcasting from the protest may be, as long as he is giving coverage to it? I feel like not wanting him there is like telling protestors you don't agree with not to protest because you don't have the same opinions. Regardless of the differences, your still coming together for the same overall purpose. Maybe I am missing the point, so I am welcome to be informed otherwise.
That heckler needed to shut up last night he makes everyone look bad, if you listen to what they are trying to talk about, they are supportive of the protest and they are interviewing protesters. They are giving the protest media coverage so that it can become bigger. That heckler is the one who needed to go home. We need to protest unfair labor practices like unpaid internships, we need to protest lack of jobs and bank bailouts, we do NOT need to protest media coverage. What a moron!
@northwestblazinfire hahahah dude trys to shut up the heckler and he looks right at the cat and says like a boss, "hes a corporate puppet shut up" lol that cat is righteous free speech brudah!! way to give it to the man, who gives a fuck if you're not proud of him Schultz your a mouth-piece presstitute who love to lick obamas dirty crack. The people should've mass boo'ed this puppet gateway keeper. That kid is point on in his heckling way to do it man.
Comparing MSNBC with FOX is like comparing apples & oranges. MSNBC is a mostly-progressive station, but at least tells the truth & calls the right out on their falsehoods they try to spread, while FOX flat out distorts shit just to give the right-wing an advantage. FOX should be the one you idiots take out your hatred on. Ever heard of the saying that reality has a liberal bias?
@DontRepYourCity i agree with you man. ppl in this country are already gettin amnesia about who put us in this mess in the first place & who is truly to blame...i expected this from day 1 when obama set foot in the oval office. this dude in the video is a straight dipshit though
What the fuck did you think I was saying dumbass? I said that there were Democrats who were responsible for this mess, too, but all I was saying is that I think most of the blame should be placed on the Republican-led Congress for not trying to pass the president's jobs bill. Boehner said he'd create jobs, but where the fuck are they?
They are getting organized. They are against government debt eating them alive. They are against the feds printing counterfeit money which causes inflation (a hidden tax). They are against the wars....hmmmm?
It appears they have been against (for the past few weeks) the same things Ron Paul has been fighting for THE PAST 30 YEARS!
Why would you send a grossly overweight man from the union to this thing, kinda hard to make a case that unions aren't overpaid when your spokesman looks like he eats enough in one meal to feed a whole family for a month.
If people understood the fairness and justice from a Libertarian stand point, they would realize Ron Paul is their man. Truth is I prefer freedom from government tyranny. Ron paul is a movement to an anarchic system. Wake up people. Government IS FOR THE CORPORATION. STOP demanding "FREE MONEY" from the gov. It isn't free. The wealthy are wealthy because of LAWS and REGULATIONS from Gov! End the Fed, End all wars! Ron Paul now!
I saw this on the Ed Show tonight, & I want to know what that jackass was heckling him for. They should instead heckle people who are actually against the agenda of the 99% like Fox News, Eric Cantor, & the rest of the Congressional Republicans.
@DontRepYourCity You're a fool if you think that only Republicans are to blame for the Corporatism that is bleeding this country dry. It's the Federal Reserve, and corrupt politicians on both sides of the aisle.
@k2wannab I concede there are some Dems to blame as well, & I think Pres. Obama should've made a more progressive stance & not cave in to the demands of John Boehner aka. Mr.I Got 98% Of What I Wanted. But right now Obama's been trying to pass the jobs bill in order to put folks to work & make the tax rates fairer. The problem is the Republican majority doesn't want to pass it. Maybe I'm wrong, but it looks like the Congress has been the main obstacle in fixing the country's crisis.
@DontRepYourCity I see your point, but continuing the status quo will do more harm that good. The real burdens on our system are a tax code that is so convoluted and filled with so many kick backs for friends of politicians that it is completely worthless. Next, the Federal Reserve pumping monopoly money to their friends has been robbing the rest of us through inflation. Last, enormous deficits have sucked up capital into t-bills that would have been used far more effectively in the market.
@DontRepYourCity Stop making this about Faux News and pubtard, you fucking Dem apologist. The Democunts and the Republitards are both united in fucking America up the ass without the God-darmed common courtesy of a reacharound.
@Saveoursovereignty3 the OWS protest has never been a genuine call for liberty. They are calling for government intervention in the economy- demanding that the gov't set a wage requirement for employers and have called for higher taxes on the productive rich, who are already paying high taxes. OWS should be focused on the main culprit- the Federak Reserve and the federal government, who provided them with this money.
Ron Paul started the Audit the FED movement lets see if these protesters have the backbone to admit where they got the truth from. "truth is treason in the empire of lies" - Ron Paul
occupy wall street is a liberal group in favor of communism. they should be protesting crony capatilism and banks buying out politicians instead of the free market

NOT realizing that his desire to be, disqualifies him.

Schultz is, however, dumb enough to believe himself STILL to be the anointed one...Fucking moron...
