  • where is this ill bring my lurcher

  • firerfox :D

  • theyre so cute!!! :D

    but fucking scary.... O.o

  • "It was something to came to me as a surprise."

    Poetic.

  • Haha ide love to set my lurcher on some of those pictures

  • Foxes are so beautiful.

  • 0:43 DAYUM YOUR BREATH STINKS!

  • lovely pictures

  • creepy :O

  • Well I am more scared of people and their delusions of grandeur, rather than any animals.

  • These pictures are beautiful.

  • @OlgaTheBrownFox ....Lol....

  • Reminds me of Tod in the Fox and the Hound. What is really weird is hearing a pack of coyotes at night.

  • "this is me" how informational

  • I just heard this tonight, my cat was afraid behind me when i checked out the forest

and it was a lot more powerfull,

  • @OlgaTheBrownFox a vixen, if you will.

  • @OlgaTheBrownFox really?

  • Well, they certainly don't sound like they look! As an aside, you should incluce your music credits - unless I missed them! :)

  • @markvan59 thats so true. i guess thats one of the first things that threw me off. regarding the music credits, the songs are stock royalty free songs that come with apples imovie program (if you listen to a lot of podcasts, you will begin to notice they all use very similar intro songs, this is why :) )

  • @markvan59 ok, after looking at the comments, it seems a lot are asking the same things, so I looked it up and these are the songs:

the beginning: "Half Moon Bay" and "Vista". I don't know who the artists are though, as it is simply labelled "Apple Inc." (so either they hired a studio and some artists or they bought the royalties off them, perhaps?)

  • @thebuccaneersden Thanks for your reply. Really, mine was a question pretty commonly asked in the comments on YouTube in general. I should have thought to 'see all' comments and search the page for 'song', 'music' etc.

  • My wire haired fox terrier is going out of his mind at the computer right now!

  • They are such crazy animals they constantly scream and fuck about in my area. They cause nothing but havoc and anarchy but such cuties watching them roll like crazie's on the grass :D

  • There's still something canine about the sounds foxes make, but it's eerier, especially at night. Cheers!

  • song name at start ?

  • @alexorjerry the name of the song at the start is "Half Moon Bay". I don't know who the artist is however, as it is simply labelled "Apple Inc." (from their imovie software)

  • My cat was all over the room looking for the screaming critter!

Foxes do sound awfully like young people screaming, don't they. I'd be willing to bet I've mistaken the sound for a person too.

Thanks for posting this -- now I'll know it's not a girl being hurt!

  • i looked this sound up when i though i had heard a girl being stabbed twice across the street

  • The song?

  • @SickM3nace the beginning: "Half Moon Bay" and "Vista". but the songs came from apple in their imovie software, so i don't know who the original artists were

  • pretty sure that was a hyena

  • They are so so so beautiful

I live near the national park, and here we have hundreds of them they are amazing animals I love them. It's sad taht people still killing those amazing foxes

  • i hear this shit everynight

  • Did you take those pictures? Wow, you are very lucky to have a clan of Foxes that let you observe them.

  • That story you said is EXACTLY what happend to me the first time i heard it, FUCKIGNBSDTUIGYOCBHN

  • i once woke up to a fox in my house

  • Foxes

    Natures douche

Did you see the fox in the beginning with that smirk on?

  • "The cry of a Foxes." Really? Didn't catch that on the first playback?

  • Jeez, just woke up and never heard a fox cry before, it sounded like a woman crying and screaming at the same time. Literally made my hair stand up straight and scared me half to death, and then I saw a bunch of foxes run past when I was looking out the window.

  • Spent a few nights with my parents in Fredericksburg. Va. woke up 1 night to this sound outside the window, I opend the door for a moment thought was a woman screamming. Now i'm sure it was a fox something scurried away in the bushes didn't get to actually see it

  • i can hear a crazy crying noise outside my window at this precise moment. i werent sure if it was my neighbors cat because i know it fights foxes that come in their garden or if it was an actual fox but after watching this, i believe its the fox making the crazy crying noises, it wont stop and its verryy loud.. dear oh dear

  • And to think. Some people keep these as pets.

  • @evitanigaminU I would :)

  • @thebuccaneersden YEAH! -high five-

  • @thebuccaneersden me too..But deep inside me I know it's just wrong :)

  • Lol, what were you recording on? an air conditioner?

  • @DollBrideMask lol, on warm summer nights, thats what my laptop turns into

  • @DollBrideMask - I agree with you. This is the most pathetic footage (just photos) and sounds are almost inaudible. I've herd foxes round my house and they're way louder and downright scary. Sounds like someone screaming in agony, or an animal suffering, ghastly. Look elsewhere on YouTube to hear the REAL sound !!!

  • Rather a monkey in a rainforest.

  • THINK THATS CREEPY>>>LISTED TO A FISHER CAT!!!

  • foxes are meant to be cute and fluffy but their scary as shit

  • @onlyobservant1 I don't find them that scary when meeting them face to face. They are generally quite shy and will avoid you. But, in some instances, I've been able to find the right distance that they felt comfortable with and would just sit there observing it/them for a while.

  • @onlyobservant1 you mean they are not their.

  • @onlyobservant1 Not really. I think they're awesome.

  • Okay at the start what is that music? sounds awesome :P

  • i hear this every f***ing night and that is almost in the heart of london!

  • how is this eerie? it sounds so cute.. and i want one.

  • Thank you. The first and only time I heard a fox or foxes I'm not sure which I thought a fox was eating puppies and they were crying. It's so fantastic the noise.

  • I remember the first time I heard the cry of the fox. It was late at night in northern Maine. Well, to me it sounded like a women being rapped or something! It utterly scared the crap out of me. It continued to elude me on what was making the sound till I saw them screaming on the edge of the property almost a year later!

  • 1:59

how did it get on the roof?

  • @Foobyking9000 Hi foobyking. These are pictures by Permuted, so they are not related to the recording. Foxes in London usually do not come out until past midnight and it was too dark to capture them on camera, so I combined the audio with these pictures instead. I'd like to know as well how it got there!

  • i got scared out of my mind one night thinking there was a big animal killing a domestic cat outside my window when i was home alone... it wasn't until a year or more later i found out it was a fox...

  • @christabella81 Well, I suppose you can sleep more easily now that you know :) hehe

  • @christabella81 wow i am afraid it will happen to my cat and maby it was my other cat that got eaten by a fox or falcon or dog!!

  • Around 1:50 sounds like the successful capture of a rabbit.

  • Fox* there can't be a "a foxes"

  • I fucking hate hearing Fox cries at night. Makes me worry about my cats.

  • I hate waking up to this noise in the middle of the night. It sounds like a woman's being murdered!

  • The night was still with darkness, and the moon cast shadows in many directions. And then I said, "wow, this guy is a fag." LOL

  • Foxes don't actually bark. They howl and whine. This is the cry of the foxes, yes, but it is their whine that you are hearing. But their cries may be "shreikish" to you, but that can't stop anyone from seeing just how cute foxes really are!

  • foxes a bit odd sounding but i tell you what mountain lions are down right scary sounding; they sound like a girl screaming bloody murder, the first time i heard one was out in the mojave dessert in the middle of the night all alone

  • can I ask how all of you are sure this is foxes and not coyotes?

  • @Thescooter432 Hi. This was recorded in London, UK and they don't have coyotes here. Do coyotes sound the same?

  • @thebuccaneersden

They actually do sound the same. Possibly they are related. We are having some major problems with them in our urban areas. I had been hearing those sounds for a while before I was aware. Sorry did not take the time to know this was the UK.

  • @Thescooter432 hey, no worries. i don't think i mentioned that anywhere. that's pretty interesting about coyotes. i'm moving to canada soon, so i maybe get to find out first hand.

  • @Thescooter432 coyote and foxes do not sound anything alike foxs is more like a scream and a coyote is more of a yipping. I know this because i have a bunch of foxes and coyotes on my farm and i hear them allmost every night.

  • just about 20 mins ago i let my dogs out they will just not stop barking so i go to check it out and i hear what sounds like my dogs dieing turns out to be two foxes crying at my dogs from across my street. it seemed like they wanted to play with each other but neither of them got any closer they just stoood there barking back and forth it was wierd.

  • @jacksullivanlord1 bless. maybe they were talking politics or something :p

  • @360nightmare I like to kill things... hahahahahaha was you molested as a child?

  • 0:12 "biting my tail, all day long, biting my tail while i sing this song"

  • it sounded like my cat getting attacked by the coyote...

  • Thanks for uploading this. I just heard a horrifying asthma-like cry from my back yard and it crept me out. Now at least I know what's been upsetting my cats.

  • @lucymia hehe, good description

  • i like foxes, but what is up with the 'hyiwaatt' sound they make...its really eerie especially a night...and especially when you have a couple cats living in your barn!

  • I literally just heard fox's cry outside right now and it scared the shit out of me!!!

  • I always thought it was just a bunch of night seaguls

    xD

  • I was waken up by this last night at 4am. Scared the shit out of me. It lasted for about an half hour. Everybody in the neiborhood was woken up. The only reason I new what it was is because I heard it before about two years ago and researched on youtube.

  • good ol' youtube

  • i was in a tent with my little brother and i woke up to go to the toliet and i heard it at first i thought it was a bird in pain but it turned out to be a fox

  • Hate to ask, but what's the intro song?

  • i hear them often , it was kind of spooky the first time i heard them call .

  • OMG it's bigfoot

  • i live by the park and i sometimes hear them screaming in the woods not that often anymore but first time i heard them at my house it sounded like someone was dieing

  • braaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!! there is my fox cry

  • the pictures are really cute!

  • kyubi

  • O.O whoa. thats really weird, but in a good way. O.O

  • whats this song?

  • @crackdown12321 I wish I could tell you exactly where they are from, but they are songs that come by default in iMovie on the Mac. The 1st one is called 'Half Bay Moon Long' and the other 'Vista'.

  • wolves and foxes don't really bark, they make wierd noises. Just dogs bark, it think.

  • when i was younger i had always thought foxes were cats and dogs mixed together.

  • @sneaselweasel Haha, me too xD

  • aha you guys from America? :)

  • Not me, no :P

  • I thought only people from America would have crazy ideas such as "when i was younger i had always thought foxes were cats and dogs mixed together. "

  • they kinda are they act like it they are part dog and part cat! XD

  • they do have that kind of mixed quality, dont they? they do kinda move swiftly like a cat

  • @sneaselweasel that'd be like the perfect pet.

  • i hav a big back yard n they scared the crap outta me that night n i looked out the window n saw em

  • @waffle668 :( You should have gave it to meeee! Hahah joking! But if I were you I would have it as a pet.

  • r u crazy!? k i do want 1 as a pet but not wild ones even if i kept em there r diseases n im not even sure if its legal here

  • Thats what i heard then. About 2 minutes ago i heard the same cry and now i know what it is lol cheers!

  • that scared the crap of me when i woke up in the middel in the night and heard it

  • Yeah same, it sounds like someone been raped 0.o

  • foxes are soooo cute...but their call is really creepy....o.O

  • they are such beautiful creatures... I wonder if they can be domesticated ?

  • Yes they can.. but they need a lot of care and attention.

  • They can. There was actually a large domestication project of the Silver Fox in the Soviet Union.
