Here is some facts with the new updates:

Notch will release "hell" wich is in another world. You can make a portal to travel there with obsidian. "Hell" will give two new mobs. One is revealed to be the gast which will be really unfair and dangerous. Hell is also 16 times more compact than the normal world, so if you go to hell and move one block you have moved 16 in the normal world.

3:19 a little recomendation, because minecraft uses blocks You should always check diagonaly, you cant tell its a diamond block from a vertices, only its six faces.

red stuff is ora its used to connet swiches like. i could have one switch on one side then 3000 miles awaway i could have another switch but if i connet them with red ora then i hit one in about 5 seconds the other one would turn down

Wouldn't a good way to cancel out the lava is by letting the water flood down and then minning a channel directly to the lava and having the water go into the channel and thus his the lava and possible cancel it out?
