In the game of tarot what do you do with the pope and the high priestess cards when the game is in play ? How many players do you need as opposed to divining with the tarot cards ? Just curious !

The major arcana are trump cards with ranking. The pope ranks 5 and the high pristess ranks 2. The tarot or tarock deck in this video does not use the traditional images. The images might be important in divination but they have no importance in the tarot card games. The major arcana is a 5th suit in the game of tarot. Typically tarot games have 3 or 4 players.

So then you do recognize the importance of Tarot as a divination aspect of tarot and do very much agree according to your statement that tarot can thusly be used indeed for divination. In Tarot divining,you stated that "images might be important" as a tarot reader myself I must say that they are very important for without them it would not be Tarot now would they.

I do think that you should be very excited & happy that Tarot can be used in another aspect such as divination as not many games especially Tarocchi are able to do that would you agree ! Have you even tried divining with the tarot, if you havn't you just may like it.

My sympathies are with you my child ! But I think your out numbered with the thousands and thousands of Tarot Readers in the world. As long as the card companies and artists keep creating and selling them because of the demand for it.You should be happy and excited though in knowing that Tarot can be used for both purposes not many games at all can boast about that.

I have news for you. There really isnt that much of a demand for tarot reading in English speaking countries. If there is any real growth of tarot reading it is in Spanish speaking and Asian countries. I've done the research on this. In fact the divination practice appears to be turning people off of tarot cards.

There are tarot decks without that symbolism. Have you seen the sola busca tarot deck? There's a swiss tarot deck that has juno and jupiter instead of the pope an high priestess. The tarot is a deck of 4*14+22 structure. It's the structure of a card deck and not its symbolism which makes it tarot.
