he holds his bow by the string after he goes through all the arrows and looks at the target and he has them in the ground btw get a little farther but other than that its good for his 2nd day
i say he's doing a fine job for the second day shooting. once you can tightly group arrows at 10 yards you can do it at greater distances. keep up the good work.
you gotta love these kids/adults that say they can pick up a 70lb bow for the first time ever and shoot a deer at 200+yds with an bent arrow that's missing one fletch and yet makes a perfect hit and the deer falls in place, dead! i call BS on all of them.
good shooting! he is really strong for his size... i was 9 and shooting 27 lbs so he is doing excellent... and for the kids making fun of him, you couldn't pull it back!
im 15 and im getting that bow in a week. well honestly.... all i can say is good for kid and im glad that hes shooting his bow and again its his second day with it so we can all stop acting immature. good job kid
@akaHIT you dont shoot constistant if the weight is too much for you and you look like a week faggot strugleing to pull your own bow back read the dicripion its his second day shooting the bow
your stance is killing me man! how can you get a $300 bow and not know how to shoot it?! You need to stand almost perpendicular to the target, trust me, this will help alot!
he has some nice potential but if possible sign him up for an archery 101 class, if he continues to have a bad stance and bad allaround then hell make some bad habits
lol horrible stance and i started shooting bow for my 1st time at 25 yards your shooting at like 10 yards and i have the same bow and im 12 with 40 lb pull
@akaHIT Wow that's mature. I'm 41 and pulling 50lbs. Doesn't matter how much your pulling back or how big, or tough you are. It's about enjoying what your doing and being as good as you can be. My little 50lbs pulled by my old man shoulders killed deer just fine. No need to over do yourself.
@akaHIT wow thats funny man you didn't shoot 70 when you were 12 your lying a lil to much there bud when I was 12 3 month from being 13 i was pulling 40 first time shooting now ive had the bow for 8 months and shooting 55 cuz thats were im comfortable i can pull back 70 so you know nothing or you got a jacked up bow scale. And Your draw weight doesnt mean shit if you can't hit what your aiming at.
@akaHIT a true hunter doesnt brag about his skills nor his bow and I kinda feel bad putting you down but hey im not lying and to tell you the truth I don't think shooting 55 is such a big deal my friend shoots 62 but in no way am i jealous of him.
i have had this bow since 2008...and it shoots amazing the only thing i did was got some tru glo xtreme sights and a new stablerizer and i was good to go
i just recently got this bow. It accidently got dry fired theres to scratches on both sides of the top limb how can i identify that they are scratches or cracks without taking it into the shop?
Before I got my Diamond razor edge bow (I'm Sam's age, 12-13) I thought the distance and accuracy were impressive...well, how wrong I was. He's shooting from, say 5-10 yards and his arrows are grouping in a 6-inch circle. When I FIRST shot my bow at that distance after NO PRACTICE, I grouped three arrows in a circle so tight the shafts were pressing against each other. I'm currently shooting 15 yards and am setting my 25-yard pin in a day or so.
please tell me if he started on a recurve... if he just started on a compund HUGE MISTAKE all they do is develope bad habits that arer nearly impossible to break, i shot a recurve for 2 years before i switched to a compound
python, im a beginner, and i tried compound bow and recurve bow, compound bow was much easier to shoot and it was more powerful and more accuracy, recurve bow requires more skills, and i liked shooting compound bow more than recurve bow
no shit its easier.. thats why you should start on a recurve it allows you to fine tune your stance grip and accuracy i promise if you shoot a recurve for ahwhile and go back to the compund your acurracy and stance will greatly improve
@Zallomallo0 he is shooting in the wrong stance. I got the same bow a few weeks ago. I went hunting yesterday for my first time and killed a 6 point. I am only 11
Diamond is made by Bowtech . for the guy that said diamond wasnt bowtech . . it is . . .& he is doin a good job with that bow :] just teach him the correct stants & it will help him alot .
Not to bad for his second day shooting. When i started out i shot 10 yards and i sucked. I had a junky browning and i couldnt even hit my target. Eventually you'll be shooting 1 inch groups with that thing. keep practicing and dont give up.
dude, hes young. get a life and stop making fun of kids who at least are headed in the right direction instead of playing video games or porn or something.
Cool! I'm getting my 5 year old a Diamond Nuclear Ice today. Pretty excited. Don't worry about the morons saying you're not shooting far enough or standing right. They're simpletons that forget what it was like when they started and how many things there are to learn. Take your time and just have fun dude!
It's set at the minimum 30 pounds here. That's one of the main reasons we went with this bow. 30-60# and 19-29" draw length. We'll move it up as he gets stronger.
@haloaddict73 Nothing wrong with starting out easy. Success at a short range then going out further is the right way to do it. Why discourage a kid by putting a target too far out.
I think his draw length is a bit too long. His right elbow is a little bent. He may have better form and get a little more consistant so he could take a few steps back.
@haloaddict73 - Anything? Really.... I've had whitetail almost step on me in a make-shift ground blind. He wouldn't have gotten that close if he wasn't just a little Fork but if you're patient and position yourself properly 10 foot shots are totally possibly. (Leave the kid alone :) )
ur soppose to stand straight and semi open ur hand in the front and
