I know old news is old, but the little bug guys can attach themselves to larger shells and either revive them or give them a boost, such as wings when you get to that point.

Hey quadraxis, is Ico or SOTC or TLG is one universe? i mean are Ico and the protagonist from SOTC and TLG in the same world so they can meet each (other) their cameo?

@metalgearcola They're all in the same universe, but only spiritually. The same architecture and culture is present in each one, but there are hundreds of years taking place between SotC and Ico, so they can't meet each other, Ico however IS a descendant of Wander for certain reasons I won't spoil for you. TLG isn't out yet so I can't tell you anything for sure about that one.

What I love about this game is how subtextual it is. The castle gives the feeling of a limbo, of a place between life and death. With that, you don't need exposition to understand why Ico takes Yorda on. He's effectively dead; his life, whatever it may have been, is over. So he builds his new life around her, because he has nothing else.

That "glitch" Happens if you leave yorda, like going threw the door. I've played the game so many times i got to fear leaving with out her unless the game made me. and ye if you leave the lil bug dudes they will keep the portal open and in time the big ones will come out again, that's why to have to hunt all the suckers down.

You can die from extreme heights, but not much else. If she gets captured or somehow falls off a cliff (never happened for me) then it's game over as well.

(4:59) - (5:19) I donno about the mechanics of the game, but I think it's because you left her behind for a specific amount of time. I know there's some games that, even though the partner is close by and safe, if you leave them for however long, it's counted as a death. The game may have registered it as such.

No, if I spent 5 or 10 seconds away from her nothing would happen like it did on purpose. Plus, if she's getting captured because you were away for too long, the creepy music starts up and you hear her gasp from the other room.

No, it takes a lot longer than that for the shadow demons to appear, plus you would hear the music, no matter where you were at the time as well as her gasping.
