  • I dont think a show like this, is for kids right?

  • @2the9s1 If you think the show may not be for kids, consider the comic books themselves! The themes in the original comics are very very contemporary and serious. Marvel's version of this is their "Civil War" series, with the heroes lining up either with the government or against it, when the government begins to infringe on the civil rights of the people (not unlike the real world).

  • @2the9s1 That's the best thing about this show. anyone can watch it. It teaches the viewer lessons, but without the ham-handed morals that cartoons back in the day used to have at the end. Justice League doesn't treat kids like they're idiots.

  • Thanks for uploading these. I found JLU to be some of the best written television of the past ten years. It was dismissed by "serious" people as children's fare but the themes and ideas are often very sophisticated. These episodes in particular, which question the nature of power are very interesting.

  • When Superman leaves, Professor Hamilton starts breathing heavily. Is that from relief that the alien superpower threat was gone, or was it regret for what he did?

  • @jonbap426 Little of column A, little of column B.

  • @jonbap426 i thought it was because he was afraid Superman would disintegrate him.

  • baby doll

  • in part 2 question mentioned Illuminati anybody else heard that?

  • Where does the story go on?

  • @xyCommander Flashpoint

  • in the very beginning it looks like mantis has been playing too much minecraft

  • We don't need Cadmus to protect us from superheroes, that's what we have Batman for.

  • It kinda pisses me off when someone dares to challenge Superman

  • @mrremi12s Me too. For the greatest and most powerfull hero of all, he is too gentle. Even to his enemies.

  • i thought the huntress was the daughter of batman and catwoman, if so how in the hell is she apart of the league while batman is a member

  • @Rxrefill08 shis not. And her parents died when she was a kid. Her father was a mafia boss who got cupped by his own people.

  • @Nicklaspm She was the daughter of Batman and Catwoman in a alternate version

  • @Rxrefill08 She is in a alternate version, earth 2

  • superman is so lazy he doesnt even walk 0:43

  • Has anyone uploaded these episodes in some kind of order?

  • Elsewhere I answered a post asking WHY the purpose of aglets(shoe-lace tips) is synister. Aglets plastic have a chemical that when contacting finger-tips this chemical is absorbed into the skin & over time the blood-stream. This chemical(which is also in the plastic keys of computer key-boards)leave the mind highly susceptible to waves emited by secret satellites, the BACKside of home-satellite dishes & various electronic media.

  • Ah. The Question is played by Jeffrey Combs.

  • I thought you were a guardian angel, come to answer our prayers...

But then I took an arrow to the knee.

  • @TheJhouston STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL SCUM, YOU'VE VIOLATED THE LAW

    1. pay 2000 views (insufficient funds)

    2. go to jail

    3. resist arrest

  • @ElderScrollsObbsed I'm the Thane of this city, look the other way.

  • @eyallev why question and huntress steal files from cadmus

  • how the hell chris smoove the best commentator for CoD end up in here..the justice league unlimited series O_o

  • "Next time? Go to the bathroom before we go on a mission." Half the lines are delivered that way. Statement uttered as a question, followed by the second half of the statement uttered as a statement.

  • THEY believe in hell, so hell tthreat is what they understand....

  • this is what you get helping americans, these vermin stab you in the back. they will suffer in hell greatly.........

  • @mrlogicalman1 Please tell me you're kidding. For pete's sake your username is "mrlogicman" and you telling me I'm definitely going to hell.

  • i can understand what Hamilton did he was worried but what he did i think superman will never forgive him

  • i think justice legue should do what justice lords did and end this sharade

  • You like this? Check out Transformers: Prime, today!

  • @adgthandthelionking5 im waching this partly because i miss hearing ratchet's voice :)

  • @TheMexgirl18 which one is Ratchet?

  • @adgthandthelionking5 the voice actor for the question is the same guy who does the voice for ratchet on transformers: prime. Season 2 of transformers: prime doesn't come out until february 2012 and it just nice to hear a familiar voice. :)

  • @TheMexgirl18 Can't remember the actors name, but he also played Wayune, an alien of a clone race on Star Trek-Deep Space9.

  • Cliffhanger ending. Awesome.

  • Hamilton is a bitch. If Superman was the bad guy Hamilton thinks he is, Hamiton would be a dead man.

  • Omfg Lois, Superman just saved the world again and set up a picnic for you, and all you can do is whine about how he isn't doing quite a good enough job. Go fall in a hole.

  • the martian vs supers who would win?

  • @travkeyes if they both play optimally at least jhon-o wouldn't lose, cuz he can become untargetable and invisible, but i don't think he could damage superman unless he got sum kryptonite, and superman is faster so if he has kryptonite supermancould just run like the wind.

  • At least Professor Hamilton feels some guilt for betraying Superman... or he was only glad Superman didn't kill him.

  • I love The Question :3

  • The Question iS 1 My Favorites.Anyone Else Peeped Game And Noticed N Part 1 He Put The REAL Disk iN His Left Pocket And Anticipating Huntress Would Take iT 4rm Him So He Baited Her By Revealing A Fake 4rm His Right?? Dat Was A Smoove Move By Da Question !

  • @ant7867 chris smoove

  • Stupid Move 1-Fuck with The Question.

Stupid Move 2-Piss off The Huntress.

Stupid Move 3-Pretty much everything after The Huntress part.

  • 7:59 when Q is scanning the files on part 1/3 there's a file that says "BRAZILBOYZ" LMFAO

  • Aw, I was hoping he would Question Authority.

  • Do you know what would be nice? If superman just said...

"I was MIND controlled. How do you not get that?"

  • what is the next episode?

  • @pillowcase97 Flashpoint

  • In part 1

She puts the USB into her panties implying that he's got to get to ... in order to get it

  • in part 1:

    "Dinner and a movie?"

    It's a start....(puts USB in her panties)

LOL HOW DID I NOT SEE THAT

  • @paydafee That explains why he got the USB back so fast ! :)

  • @paydafee but you didn't notice that Q puts the disk in his right pocket and then pull out another disk from his left pocket.

the disk huntress takes is a fake

  • Why is Leonard Nimoy torturing The Question?

  • @beanwalrus No one else had the guts

  • "I thought you were a guardian angel, come to answer our prayers. But Lucifer was an angel too, wasn't he?" Great line.

  • @HaggisMcCrablice Yeah. Kinda disgusts me that he'd make such a low blow, though.

I say Superman is Gabriel, if anything.

  • @HaggisMcCrablice You know, for kids.

  • @HaggisMcCrablice I was just happy they weren't afraid to mention something from the bible.

  • @HaggisMcCrablice

    one of many

  • did anyone else notice project pandora on (1/3)?

  • this is inappropriate, considering he was being tortured, but didn't realize question was that buff. dude doesn't wear spandex to show off his build.

  • Yay! Finally figured out who Question is....Weyoun!

  • Unless the gun had bullets made of Kroptonite he didn't have to drop it and you think they'll do so

  • @jmaxed No but he could've shot huntress

  • i wish this was still on tv. if it is i do not get the channel

  • superman actually gets people killed by not killing mass murderers, hes always like "send him to prison he wont brake out a 17th time"

  • that was so hot when huntress put that thing Q had her underwear... LOL

  • @1SirCarlton She can put my pp in there, too. xD

  • @1SirCarlton Hate to dis-appoint, but look closely: first Q pulls a switch on Huntess(later he is viewing privately), She, not catching the switch, puts the dummy disc in the front(tummy-location{pant-pant}-) utility pouch. At a glance, it tantalizes the eye & its implied that Huntress will be making Q work(a-hem) for the disc.

  • What's Hamilton's betrayal got to do with the Chicken or the Egg?

  • @TheVoiceOfReason93 in Superman TAS, darkseid took control of superman and made him attack earth and as a result the gov't had it out for superman and supergirl (by association). Kara was badly injured and when superman was freed from darkseid's control he took Kara to hamilton. Because of everything that happened, Hamliton was unsure if he should help but Supe's basically threatened him into helping her.

Supes claims Hamilton violated his trust, but Hamilton is saying that supes did it first.

  • @MonteCreations So basically Hamilton doesn't trust Superman because Supes told him to do his job? Hamilton= Logic Fail

  • @BlackMetalShayne Except it wasn't his job. Hamilton pointed out helping supergirl could have been considered an act of treason; and that can carry heavy penalties. in a sense he would be placing his life at serious risk, which is asking a lot for someone who isn't a superhero.

  • Once again, Question reminds me alot of Rorscharch but anyway lol Justice League is a really deep show

  • @KudokuMaoh Rorschach's character actually originated from the Question. Because DC didn't want Alan Moore to kill off the characters of Watchmen, they insisted that he change them, sparing the question and the other original characters the fates that befell their copy-cat counterparts.

  • whats the next episode after this

  • though its just a cartoon, it was still pretty intense

  • hmm, I wonder if batman and question, were in a detective contest to see who could solve mysteries fastest, who would win. in my opionion question would totally beat batman.

  • I do actually partially agree with the bad guys; anyone in a real-life scenario where there was an army of superhuman, some so powerful they're near omnipotence (like Superman, which I detest because he's so unrealistic) freelancing would feel the same;

  • @bbphnix Even though they've used this omnipotence to save countless millions and our planet a few hundred times over? I think they earned the benefit of the doubt.

  • Captain Atom why oooohhhhh why....cant anybody understand ....put darksaide & every other villan..and hero against Superman....and Superman would still be the winner.....only one man can stop Superman and That is BATMAN...

  • @beyond9900 how can batman stop superman??

  • @gangster2008 kriptonite always with him

  • I just have to say, at the beginning of this episode when Huntress puts the memory device in her pants..oh larrd, lol! Question is one lucky guy :L

  • @DecembersVeryOwnEnt Oh , so I wasn't the only one imagining him 'retrieving the data' ? >:D

  • Huntress is badazz

  • For anyone who wants a little background on what Darkseid did to Supes, his attack on earth, him threatening Dr Harding, etc., check out Superman TAS episode Legacy 1&2. It'll explain a lot, since the episodes are VERY heavily referenced in several episodes of JLU.

  • i was really shocked when they made Hamilton a bad guy, after all those years in Superman TAS as superman's closest friend and ally

  • @friendlycakeasaurus I found that shocking too but it is nice that they had consequences to actions, even more so they did continuity BETWEEN series..Super-man went rogue because of some kind of mind control deployed by Darkseid and there were many in Metropolis that either don't believe his story about mind control or simply can't forgive super-man even if it was because of mind control. That's real and that's what I LOVED about this series.

  • what the hell is everyone against supes now i mean wut the fuck !!!!!!!!!

  • GHAHH huntress and Question together are so bloody hot! also their just a great couple to begin with :p

  • Why did Obama kill Flash on part 2/3

  • why is prof.hamilton , breathing deep like that? at 0:28 ? is he feeling sorry for superman or what?

  • @Parkjisung91 uhmm you just faced down a man that is capable of lifting Metropolis on a bad day! I would be sweating bullets too if I pissed him off.I wish I could get a hold of the episode that Hamilton mentioned about Super-man bringing in Super-girl for medical treatment and apparently rough handling Hamilton.I've never seen it.

  • @gamesmaster35 It is like the second last episode of Superman: The Animated Series.

  • @Parkjisung91 he was like that becuz he dodged a bullet when superman walked away

  • @Parkjisung91 The most powerful being on the planet, capable of bench pressing an oil tanker while reading a book sitting on the moon, was pissed off and shouting in your face from 2 inches away. How would you react?

  • Even the greatest fan of Question has to admit he made a mistake in this episode. If you want to kill someone and suceed at it, do it from a distance. Question should have shot Luthor if he wanted him dead. Not sure if it would have worked considering Brainiac, but at least Q would have had a chance to escape.

  • @DavidbarZeus1 I think half the point was that he didn't plan on escaping. He wanted people to know he did this off his own bat, then little blame would fall on the League. If he just ran it would be logical for the League-Haters to assume they had it arranged. I think he also assumed he would be able to beat Luthor, given that he's apparently trained in martial arts and Luthor is SUPPOSED to be just a normal businessman.

  • Rorscach was based on Q.

  • question reminds me of rorshach

  • D: I hate luthor now, He beat up the Question! And then they electrocuted him!

I hope he's alright, he's one of the best guys in this!

If anything happens to him, I hope Huntress beats everyone responsable to a pulp.

  • question is the next batman

  • I never really gave too much thought to the Huntress until this TV show.

  • What's the next episode called?

  • @TheWhyteRayven I think it's called "Flashpoint".

  • @TheWhyteRayven after "Flashpoint" it's then "Panic in the Sky", "Divided We Fall", and finally "Epilogue" closes out season one.

  • @TheWhyteRayven Also, although 'rhaphiikii2' has provided a lot of JLU vids, I find that 'wizmp' provides all of the episodes that I mentioned (Flashpoint, etc.) at a higher resolution (480 pixels instead of the 240 or 360); also the sound on the rhaphiikii2 version of Flashpoint is really bad.

I think the episode "Epilogue" is a Batman Beyond crossover story

    Enjoy!

  • @TheWhyteRayven And don't miss (via wizmp) the episode "For The Man Who Has Everthing"

  • I never thought I'd say this, but huntress and question are SO cute together!

  • k...they r really pissing superman off!..........if i were suoerman i go rampage on them!...then again..it will defeat the purpose.

  • I want Huntress to call me babydoll....

  • I didn't know they would mention these facts(or conspiracy) in TV(like Fluoride and such)

  • R.I.P Dwayne McDuffie

  • where's the next episode?

  • i just love superman I wish i had his power

  • 10 - 1 that Question's conspiracies are true in his reality

  • whats that saying?

"You Either Die a Hero, or You Live Long Enough To See Yourself Become the Villain" Harvey Dent Batman the dark knight :D

  • Amy Acker as the Huntress is the best!

  • So the government though that they could get away with torturing Q nearly to death?

  • sooo, the Huntress and the Question have a violent, cool, investigative child named Rorschach?

  • If I were Huntress I would have let that pig live but I would have shot him in the knee cap. No one hurts Question and gets away with it!

  • So is Jimmy still tied up?

  • Can I ask? What is the next episode after this?

  • @darkdevilhikaru flashpoint hope that helps :)

  • I love this show. Its one the few superhero cartoon shows where it doesn't alienate older veiwers. Hell Im a die hard fan of Marvel and I still love this show and that says alot.

  • ... The Question Is Defiantly NOT My Favorite Character... *Urgh!

    

1: He Never Really Appears In Any Other Episode, And When He Dose- He's So Strange And Un-Familiar Everybody Is Kinda Disturbed By Him...

  • @QueenLucyTheValiant1 SERIOUSLY! you dont like question because he rarely appeared in this show. read the comics, it`s much better

  • My only complaint is that they never called him "Vic". I would have made the hospital scene with Helena and Q so much better. Regardless, the Question is BAMF!

  • Is Huntress supposed to be Batman's daughter from another universe or world?

  • @Trexmaster12 no. she's not related to him at all. well, in the comic books, there's a version of her that IS Batman's biological daughter but that's another story.

  • @Trexmaster12 I think there were 3 women who used the persona "The Huntress." One of those women was the daughter of Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle, but that was on an alternate Earth.

  • is it just me or does Doc Hamiilton look like he's about to have a heart attack?

  • Huntress = not part of the League.

Huntress = wears stripes like the Justice Lords.

    IS IT A COINCIDENCE?

    That is the Question.

  • @the0amazing0joe Answer: Huntress' costume stripes are NOT related to the Justice Lords. Why? Her stripes are crossed as in The Holy Cross. The design became less obvious over time, but when Helena Bartelinni 1st became the Huntress, she incorperated Holy Cross symbology into her costume to reflect her Italian Catholic heritige. This designe was not part of the original 70s-80s Huntress of 'Earth-2', daughter of that universe's Batman & Catwoman from the 40s-late 60s. CRISIS changed all that.

  • @Velocity9s Short answer: yes, it is a coincidence, and I knew that. But it's not a coincidence to the Question. ;D (It is a joke, in case you missed it.)

  • Is it even possible to keep a secret from Question? Seems like he knows everything! Even Batman i heard said he sometimes thinks Q is a better detective than him! And hes Batman!! Dang...

  • huntress, the hot female batman.

  • @Itsallover57 maybe if she had some personality beyond being a slut

  • @JustThink00 Dude, soooo not cool. Read her back story before u judge her. She's not a slut, just super hot. And she is SO a female batman!

  • @JustThink00 angry slut

  • whats the episode after this?

  • @Lairdesangfroid Flashpoint I think

  • illuminati is related to this

  • Question is awesome

  • What has Huntress been doing with Question...dun dun dunnn

  • Geez, I'm picking up super Rorschach vibes in the 2nd part. Now I see where he came from. The Question is awesome.

  • @Bottery Then we've come full circle; Rorschach was originally based on the Question, who in turn was the inspiration for DCAU Question. Cosmic aint it?

  • @SIMPDUDE

    Mind. Blown.

  • Question is a boss! he knows like everything about everything. even his name is tight, "question" u can have so many lines with that lol

  • @Rico2489 Question vs. Rorschach; now THAT would be interesting.

  • we need to see sups get pissed

  • @Timario007 he did get pissed on Darkside, remember lol

  • In situations like this you really wish Supes had more malevolence. That doc needed to be crushed like a bug.

  • @Leto2ndAtreides But like Luthor and he was dead fucking right on this one: Superman's got too much ego. As in too much rightous bullshit to be the "hero"

  • @Leto2ndAtreides that'd make superman no better than him

  • @mega48man Someone who creates dangerous superbeings is a more than minor threat to the world. If Supes thought it was justified to take him down - he wouldn't necessarily be wrong to do it.

  • @Leto2ndAtreides Malevolence is what separates Superman from his justice lord counter-part. Or if you really want a malevolent kryptonian you should look up his OTHER evil counterpart "Ultra Man"

  • @Leto2ndAtreides: This is why you need Wolverine on the JLA. We'll work out that pesky Marvel/DC issue later.

  • In the beginning, Supes is drinking juice. Can juice even withstand his Super Digestion?

  • @Leto2ndAtreides so they could sue the lawsuit for excessive force later on?

  • a soldier serves a goverment and a goverment IS EVIL and only keeps us under they're thumb to feed them our hard earned money. but a hero is a liberator and a true protector that stands up for all of our human not just the limited rights we have when we're young (which IS absolutly wrong and injust) rights regardless of AGE, RACE, COLOR OF ANY PHYSICAL FEATURE, PHYSICAL OR MENTALL TRAITS or NATIONALITY.

  • @Navesblue While I agree that a hero transcends race, religion or sex, Captain Adam HAD to follow his orders as a soldier. Legitimate orders from the government cannot be ignored. While soldiers make helpful 'interpertations' of these orders, a soldier who does not follow orders is a liability to himself, those around him, and the people he has sworn to protect.

Besides, often times, an order obeyed saves lives. "Advance, covering fire," are given by men with the bigger picture in front of them
