Although I have to disagree with the poster on here about Beck. While I may not agree with everything he has to say (is there any person you agree with 100% of the time?) I believe if it wasn't for him (Beck) a lot of people would still be sleeping (or stuffing their fat faces with food and watching American Idol) instead of waking up to what's happening around them. Sean Hannity is following Mark Levin's, Rush Limbaugh, (name your favorite talk radio blowhard) stances on how a third party candidate would ruin the Republicans chances of winning in 2010 and 2012.
Even though Dr. Ron Paul would probably run as a Repub, he would siphon the votes like he did in '08 when he couldn't get off the ballet in some states.

The constitution provides for a NAVY, period. If we need to AMEND it to provide for airforce then fine, do it. But as it is the limits are clear, yes even in times of peace a navy is supported.
The military industrial complex has been publicly acknowledged by presidents as early as Eisenhower, Kennedy but that's not sufficient for Hannity so lets go to the think tank military geeks themselves, check out Thomas Barnett's The Pentagon's New Map where he classifies the military as part of our GDP

The Constitution makes no distinction between citizens and others when it comes to natural rights. Citizens have some positive rights, such as voting and running for public office. But the rights guaranteed by the Bill of Rights are human rights. "The congress shall make no law..." means just that. It does not mean only that the congress shall make no law abridging the natural rights of a privileged class.

I am a big Ron Paul supporter, and I admit that Hannity is right about one thing. Some of Ron Paul's supporters are nuts - flat out bonkers. However, I would be quick to point out that ALL of Hannity's supporters are crazy. Ditto for those who still are mesmerized by Obama's "hope and change" platitudes.

yes we do need the armed forces to defend our national sovereignty....but going around the world picking fights with regimes we consider a potential threat based on their military capabilities further undermines the security it intends on providing....we should have learned that lesson over the last 8 years....and BTW why haven't we invaded Saudi Arabia yet?...the 9/11 hijackers were Saudi nationals..
