First there was this, then there was the Exec cylinder which could be keyed in such a way that one key will only turn the cylinder one way and another key another way...what is the difference?
this is only classic...that has been long out of date restricted...assa abloy have come out with protec and DLP (disklockpro all just ran out of restriction) nobody really uses this anymore...very out of date and old technology i would know i do work at australias largests supplier of abloy products :)
This is one of the very few lock designs which can still hold its own to this day. Extremely difficult to pick, and also highly drill resistant. However, these locks could be impressioned with little trouble with a soft aluminum bar; this is one of the things the new Protec design seeks to eliminate.

Actually to go about picking this lock,you would need two L shaped picks like the warded L picks but longer.This lock works on the same principle as a safe and most Abloys have spacers(extra disc with shallow notches to confuse picking attempts.}

You just turn the key to the opposite direction. Usually you can't pull off the key before doing this.
