I bought a Grubee Starfire from eBay and I was wondering what the proper way to adjust the clutch is..I don't know if I'm starting the engine correctly. Essentially I adjusted the clutch so that when the clutch lever is locked back, I can ride the bike forward without resistance and when I "pop" the clutch lever, it sputters and kind of starts to run. The problem is it doesn't idle (it dies out quickly/doesnt stay on)..I can make a video. I was hope you can help. Thanks & God Bless
Are you friggin kidding me?!?! You can't bug out on a bike with shiny chrome and flashy paint!! You need to paint this with flat stealth bomber black paint A.S.A.P!!!!
yes theirs a little screw there behind the air filter so i found a small screw and glued it in place so ill see if that works if not I'll take it to the carb shop here
Good work, I have two of these one with NOS. I ride them every day and living in Michigan has been fun this winter rain, snow, and sun shine. I have made upgrades to them making the parts last longer. My daily commute is 21 mile and getting over 125 MPG, the saving is wonderful. My stock bike will run 38 mph, the other with will do 53 mph and its crazy fast on a bike. Watch your brake pads and rims, I change pads every month, and use steel rim. Good luck with your first ride.... Looking Good
Great job! We used to build those as kids...Nothing that pretty though! Be careful where you test drive that thing, you could easily rack up 1500 bucks in tickets here in NY! Uninsured, unregistered, uninspected and numerous equipment violations...and they will impound B.O.B.! (Unfortunately I know this from experience) (͡๏̯͡๏)
Sweet...or Sweeeeeet like those hemi guys used to say on the commercials. Really looking forward to Friday. My son and I want to build one of these now, which sounds good to me cause I aint fit'n on a mini bike, LOL...we'll all have a lot of fun with one (to start with) of those...really nice work, and again we can't wait to hear it run (big thumbs up)
Love it man. Would love to afford one of them lil'motors for sure. I see bikes at yard sales all the time for next to nothin'. This is a great idea and if, should I say as the gas prices keep goin up, could be a daily rider. I can see the price of the motors, not bad but out of my budget, can't even imagine the cost of the custom graffics...B.O.,B. Diggin your channel bro...LBP
Awesome bike. With gas hitting $4 here, its tempting. I'd have to do offroad since all the Jackasses around here would run me over.
On your trailer, you might want to put some stops on the rear wheel so it cant go rotate at 90 degrees, or wherever it wants when you are pulling it. It might track with the duals with out stops, but I can see it going all over the road too.
As a side business you could hop on your scooter and pull along the box filled with soda and ......... wait, I can hear it now .......Hey yous guys I got two hot ass samwichs, chips and a cold drink for $4.95! Just thinkin. Fogetbouit.
awsome ive been thinking about doing something like that cant wait till friday if that thing rips around at any decent speed im gonna be putting one together myselfthe tool box is a good idea that along with a backpack can carry a lot of gear dont forget to throw in a few spark plugs those 2 stroke engines burn through them pretty fast
All i want to know is ,why the mafia doesn't have a bigger B.O.B.for you to use?For crying out load.. how the hell are you going to put a body on/in that thing? JK man great job.I had to razz ya.
@brooklynprepper Heck no.. lol I love Nevada.. its funny.. in the town I live in out here (About 60 miles outside of Vegas) its packed with ex new yorkers. I get to hear the old NY accent all over town.
I can see it now, the cities are emptied out except for the occasional zombie and brooklynprepper riding down the streets collecting whatever is left over in his gas bike and trailer. Pretty cool, brother. Can't wait to see you ride it! That should be a hoot. What I want to know is where are the weapon mounts? How are you gonna carry your AR?

If you ride this wear protection, at least leather gloves, in my experience light bicycles are easier to wreck (cause a spill) than motorcycles.

Why did you go with gas powered instead of electric? I imagine that in a SHTF scenario that fuel will become rather scarce.

That is a thing of beauty as my old shop teacher would say. IF that rides as good as it looks, you will be the most stylin prepper motoring around.
